Speedlimit Without Speedometer!
Why does the Speedometer have to be on in order to see the speed limit!?
When the Speedometer is on the size of the speed limit is reduced enough to make it very hard to read (Android Auto).
Why not allow the speed limit to show without the Speedometer so it can stay legible for older eyes that can't read 6pt fonts at a distance of 3+ feet?

Although I have Waze on my car's 10" infotainment display (CarPlay), the speed limit is difficult to read. I would prefer the speed limit info to be larger and positioned in the left-side corner, closer to the driver, rather than in the right-side corner.
I would also prefer not to be distracted by the overlay showing the car's actual speed. It would be useful to have an optional display of the difference between the speed limit and the car's current speed (red for excees speed, and green for running below speed limit), as speeding tickets are based on this difference.

Speedometer overlay.
Have the option to have just the speedometer and the speed limit appear with the app runing in the background, similar to how tomtom amigo has it. This way users can use other apps or other navigation apps whilst still having the speed displayed on screen and still recieve alerts and warnings. -

Every car already has a speedometer. Maps shows the current speed limits, why doesn't Waze?

Please add this function - show speed limit without current speed!

Please make both the speed limit and vehicle speed visible at all times. Often when the speed limit changes, the speed limit pops up and covers the vehicle speed, which I need to see at that very moment

Please God just implement this. People have been asking for years.

As we know right now we have only alerts about speed limit only when we exceeding it. My suggestion for that is to receive alert all the time. Independently of the speed limit.

That is great and a very important feature - but it is to small! Though, it is not very helpful on Android Auto, because i can't read it. Pleas increase size of speed limit display.

These 2 are heavily asked for on the Internet and needed in order to actually make Waze somewhat PERFECT for the average user and drivers of old age:
1) THE SPEED LIMIT SIGN: There should be an option to DISABLE THE SPEEDOMETER but KEEP the SPEEDLIMIT SIGN. This is because all cars have a speedometer and this should be an option rather than removing the speed limit SIGN with it. If someone needs the speedometer then they should be able to turn it on or off without effecting the speedlimit sign.
2) THE STREET NAME BUBBLE: This should also be an option to turn such a feature On or Off. I've had encounters where the bubble is large and distracting that it is covering my route almost making me miss a turn. APPS SHOULD BE HERE TO AID DRIVERS AND NOT TO DISTRACT THEM OR TO ADD SO MANY FEATURES THAT HINDER DRIVING ABILITY BECAUSE THEY CAUSE CONFUSION OR REQUIRE MORE FOCUSING ON THE APP RATHER THAN THE ROAD.
Simplicity is key. These 2 features are not even hard to implement. All that is required is 1) to separate the speed limit from the speedometer option 2) add a button to turn on or off the street name bubbles. Just by adding these small things it will make user experience so much more pleasurable and enjoyable

Dessa forma sempre saberemos qual a velocidade da via que estamos pois a falta de placa de sinalização nos deixa as cegas e a merce de radares, dessa forma teremos mais um alerta para uma direção mais segura nas vias e respeitando os limites de velocidade.

I agree completely. My vehicle speedometer lets me know how fast I am going. The only enhancement to your approach could be to change the speed limit icon to red if posted limit is exceeded

Give option for speedometer. I already have 2 on my instrument cluster.

The speed limit only appears on the app when you go OVER the speed limit. It's also ILLEGAL to go UNDER the speed limit, yet the speed limit never appears and alerts you that you aren't going the speed limit. Going too fast or too slow are both dangerous and illegal, so the app should turn your speed red when you're going too slow, just like it does when you're going too fast AND the speed limit should always be up for us to see.

Currently the spped display is the same for Under the limit, Limit not known, Over the limit and limit not known.
Show the limit all the time if known.
Please make the font a bit bigger for the limit. -

Waze: To rephrase this please unconfused your speed limit UI. Why is it confusing? Because I don't know whether the app is unaware of the current speed limit or is instead just not showing it because I am not over the known limit.
As a result I am driving around very confused. Am I currently over the posted limit? I have no idea because I don't know for certain whether Waze knows the limit on the street I am driving.
I appreciate what your designers were trying to achieve by only showing the limit when it is exceeded - it conserves precious screen real-estate. This is a noble and righteous notion. However in this case it hasn't worked - it is simply causing me confusion and in the end is slowing down my progress from one location to the next.
Thanks for great work!
