Add closure report to Android Auto
There does not appear to be a way to report a temporary closure of a road due to an accident, etc. from within the Waze Android Auto interface. Please consider adding this feature.

Great thinking! We’ll share with the team; they’re always interested in new feature ideas.

Needs to be implemented to mark temporary closures on Android auto so we can help other people

I agree with this. It's more faff to set up via the phone directly to report a road closure, and even then I can't report a closure that's outside of the street I'm currently on. So I cannot report a road closure when I arrive home after a diversion which is pretty annoying.

Very important to me, since I drive from state to state.

Yes, I had to report a closure as a map issue and was directed here. It really should not be that hard. Certainly this is more useful than being able to report an animal on the side of the road.

Road closures are always in my route to work, and I cannot report them

This issue should be revisited. Many more Update Requests (user reports) are generated on the Waze Map Editor because of the inability to simply report a closure. By the time anyone answers these reports, most have already re-opened. The original purpose of this function was for drivers to help other drivers avoid routing into the same inconvenient situations. For many users currently, it's anything but that.

This needs to be a feature for all operating systems; there is no safe speed at which to disconnect a phone from the vehicle, start up an app, navigate to the report menu, and report a closure. This needs to be integrated into the auto interfaces.

Amazing how short the feature list is in Android Auto. Pathetic.

This needs also to be a feature of the iOS app. I've got my phone plugged into my car and Apple Car Play does NOT present the closure button as a option. I would have to disconnect my phone, then open the options on my phone app, select closure, select the turn that's closed ... all while driving! #NotSafe

This would be a great addition. Very valuable to all users

why is this option not available yet?
In the Netherlands, both AA and CP are used quite often to attempt to indicate a closure, but that is not possible and it takes a lot of extra time for the editors and users to check and correct this. -

Just got told after submitting a map issue (which is the closest thing I could find in android auto) that was the wrong thing to submit for a temporary road closure. While I love being able to share with my fellow users problems like a freeway on ramp being closed temporarily, no was I am digging through my phone to do so. This needs to be a feature added to Android Auto asap

Please add. It's more distracting from driving not having it there. It should be easily found so that it can be quickly reported.

This is definitely a needed feature. I have a lot of road closures due to construction near home and work and I'd love to be able to update the map my voice.

I can't believe that this has been outstanding for so long.

All option on the mobile app as for issues on a route should be avaliable on car play or android auto.

I'm surprised it's not already on there

Why is this not included in the Android Auto interface by default
