Shortest/fastest route needs to come back. I drive from Western CT to Burlington VT quite often. Waze always wants to take me 1hr out of the way through rural roads and sometimes the Taconic. Luckily I know the route. No, I do not have ‘Avoid freeways’ turned off.

1. Allows to choose fastest route by time or by distance
2. Indicate by voice destination on the right or left when arrive
3. Allow to choose the over speed alert sound continue or just alert when it reach the speed limit
4. Alert any speeding camera or radar cameras ahead by speaking

Useful for off roading/scenic driving, electric cars, eco drive. No other free apps on iPhone offer shortest route option. Make it a paid subscription option if you have to.

We would like to see the best 3 routes, just like we do if we were to go to Waze.com and search from there

YES! Waze expects me to turn off the route that takes me straight home because it MIGHT shave a minute off my drive. Doesn't matter if it crosses a railroad track that is going to have a train on it. Doesn't matter that the more turns I take, the more likely I am to get hit by an inattentive driver. Just offer the direct route so I can avoid getting on the highway at all. So basic.

I drive a Jeep Wrangler. The Fastest Route calculates the "fastest" at speeds that i cannot drive. I really would love the option of Shortest Route back as it applies directly to me.

Is it possible to plan a route to follow.
We are football fans and we travel by bus. Due to safety rules, we have to follow a predetermined approach route.
So it would be useful if we could plan a route and Waze would follow it without showing the fastest or shortest route itself.

I'm afraid Waze is 'dead'. No one is listening to the wishes of the users anymore. I switched to TomTom navigation-app and use the eco-route: it has a good balance between duration and length of the route.

My car gps offers 3 choices, fastest, economic and shortest. At least I can choose which option I prefer. I hope it will return…

There used to be a setting you could change that allowed your app to give you shortest distance rides, rather than fastest. They took it away for some unknown reason. Bring it back - Waze is currently AWFUL for taxi drivers because the app gives us routes that go way out of the way to save a few minutes of time. That's something we can't do.

Give user the ability (setting) to specify best route (default), or always choose the shortest route, regardless of obstructions.

Option: If the difference in the route is less than 5 to 10 minutes (for example) build the shortest route.

Boa noite! Aqui vcs poderiam atualizar waze para que procurasse uma rota mais acessível e curtas. Do que o de agora faz vc da uma imensa volta para sair no mesmo lugar. E mais para que ele falasse sobre quebra molas.
