Allow to work off line!!! What if I'm driving somewhere with limited to no cell service!

Good afternoon,

First of all, thank you for creating waze map, my friends and i are wazers now, and may i say that it's just an amazing app. The fact that you have other driver's reporting at the same time, it's just Genius.
Now the reason for my idea is to ask if there is a way that waze map could download the area that you live in onto your phone, reason being is because when there's no signal, the map flips sideways, and instead of the car you get a dot on the map, which may appear on a side road when there's no GPS signal. I really love the app, and I've switched from google maps to waze, and eventually would like to have all my family on it as well. Thank you for the attention paid to my idea.

Add Waze GPS turn by turn navigation in the USA!

Add an option to Download offline maps in the Waze application in order to get Waze GPS turn by turn navigation when you're not connected to the Internet so users will also be able to save Mobile data.

If your in the mountains and not bale to get a signal, you should still be able to set up a new route by using off-line maps like a number of other app for example "here"

This is what I am missing as well, let a user select countries (or for bigger countries just parts of them like France, Germany etc...) so that the maps are always available and we don't have to rely on celullar data. also update these downloaded maps only when Wifi is available, ask when only celullar is available.

I missed this a lot during my last trip to france since I have no cellular outside my own country

I really liked your app and interface, but unfortunately I deleted my account as it does not work offline.
I wish you had the option of using it offline as HERE We Go maps does. I know real time traffic and updates would not be available, but the directions would still be.
Maybe look into this and I, and I believe others, would come back/join.

Download maps when there is no cellular reception

It would. Be nice it it works off Line to so if you hit a dead spot you would not lose you navigation

Hello. I would propose to do is online map + which will be updated every hour or selection races in a day or continuously. The reason is that not all countries mobile Internet cheaper. In my case, it's expensive. But to use your program like. When there is a mobile internet use all program services onlain. But sometimes it is not. and I would like to use that card oflain your program. I know that some of the ideas and the meaning is lost, but the program will become universal.

POIS VIAJEI PARA O LITORAL E PERCEBI QUE NAS AREAS SEM SINAL SIMPLESMENTE NAO CONSTA QUE EU PERCORRI NA AREA DESCOBERTA DO SINAL DE CELULAR. E UMA FALHA QUE PODERIA FACILMENTE SER RESOLVIDO.

So we can use the app while driving through areas without a data signal AND to save battery life on the device.

make an offline map for the user to be able to download it, if the waze wants to update the latest traffic, only will be update when data is on. for the direction and map were available online.

El mapa se guarda de forma local (offline).
El ruteo es SIEMPRE online. El diseños de la Aplicación no permite realizarlo de forma desconectada.
De todos modos, si ya tienes ruta asignada y pierdes conexión, Waze continuará guiándote.

J'adore waze, c'est surement le meilleur GPS que j'ai eu jusqu'à maintenant. Par contre il faudrait pouvoir charger entièrement la carte GPS afin de pouvoir s'en servir quand on n'a pas de connexion 3G. Il faudrait aussi qu'il puisse prendre en compte les alertes sans connexion 3 G. Sinon le GPS devient inutile sans internet et les alertes dépendent de la couverture Réseau.

O waze deveria ter uma opção para baixar mapas offiline e que poderiam ser usados como GPS apenas, sem as informações do transito. No Brasil o uso do 3G impossibilita muitas vezes o uso do Waze. Sei que já existem outros apps para isso, mas gosto muito do Waze.

The waze should have an option to download maps and offiline that could be used as GPS only without the traffic information. In Brazil the use of 3G often precludes the use of Waze . I know there are already other apps for this, but like a lot of Waze .
