Having the ability to create different groups within the app, such as "Restaurants." The reason is if you are constantly marking certain locations as "Favorites" the list is getting to become too long.

Love your app! Can you please alphabetize fav’s?

Moved to a different US state. Finding it hard to find the 50 or so businesses I need to go to periodically. It would be great if Favorites were alphabetized.

Would it be possible to add folders in your favourite section of saved locations. This would. Make. My. Job much easier as I have to save different locations in different zones

I know this is not a new idea, but I did not find the right suggestion. It is silly that you can "Edit" favorites and reorganize them, then click "Done", and then next day they are in a different order again. Lots of complaints about this and it seem so simple to do. Also, PLEASE give us sub-folders in favorites so we do not have one big pile of non-related favorites! These both seem SO BASIC! Very silly not to have these functions.

Not only should we have the option to arrange our Favorites in alphabetical order: We should also have the option to group them into categories — such as Offices, Stores, Restaurants, etc. Also, the Favorites window should include a Search box, to enable to us to search for any word (or combination of letters) within the name of a Favorite.

I have over 50 favorite listings. It takes me a VERY long time to find my destination each time.

I keep my Favorites full and really get disgusted looking through them because they are not in alphabetical order.

Putting Favorites in alphabetical order would be so helpful.
Waze is the best with just a few exceptions.

Taken from the age of this post I guess Waze could care less about letting it's users categories places. So I guess it is Google Maps for me.

As a suggestion for improving the APP, I realized that you can't organize bookmarks so that it is categorized. For example, APP allows the user to organize the sequence of bookmarks, however when you return after a while this organization is not maintained. I use for example my favorites grouped by cities, example of my case, "SAO PAULO", "PERNAMBUCO", "MIAMI", etc. I even name the Favorites starting with "PE", "SP", "MIA", etc. But when I check again my favorites get all mixed up. My suggestion would be to create Favorite Groups, or even to maintain the sequence when organizing the sequence.

This is one of the reasons Instill use Google maps when on vacation. Simple feature that everyone else already has.

Also would it be possible to see all favorites in the map that would also be very handy
