You can Edit the name of your Favorite by clicking on the three dots ... to the right of a favorite.
You can't sort, but you CAN move them manually.
Open Favorites.
Click the word "Edit" on upper right of menu.
Touch and hold your favorite until it is movable, then while holding it, drag it to the top of the list or wherever you want it and drop it. Do this manually for all your favorites to get the list how you want it. Had to figure it out as no one has given any guidance, out of frustration. ;)

Doesn't seem like it would be that difficult to create a button that sorts your favorites alphabetically.

Indeed handy when preparing a vacation trip for instance, to save all related addresses in such folder

Every time there is an update on my IOS app the sort of favorites is jumbled. I drive in 2 separate cities and group the favorites by location. But they don't stay in the same place after updates

Play Store should also add this for downloaded apps so you can sort on your phone all apps by Order of Addition, frequency used, alphabetically, etc.

When will they add such a simple feature to the Play Store Waze App? I heard they have it already for IPHONE.....

I really miss favourite groups (ex.: markets, friends, workplaces, doctors, etc.).
Renaming favourites is also needed - it's horror to delete and save a location again for a new alias...

The #1 waze deficit, by far: favorites will not remain in any set order (selected or alphabetical), also cannot be renamed without delete/ re-add. All other GPS apps have this. Paid version would be fine, but hard to use as is.

Sorting, Renaming, Deleting are all but basic features of any db since the beginning of time. WHY WAZE EITHER MAKING IT DIFFICULT LIKE FORCING DELETE IN ORDER TO RENAME OR LACKING SORTING. INSANE! You're the best out there and why delaying implementing these users' suggestions. C'M ON WAZE!

I think this is something that really needs to be considered. I have many clients dispersed all around most of Pretoria and surrounds and often I need to go to more than one client in the same area. Having a blip on the map showing where all my saved favourites are would be very helpful in planning a route that would save me having to drive all over the place. Being able to see the favourites blip would allow me to save much time and petrol in the long run.
Having been used to this on a Garmin makes it rather annoying not being able to see them in this map.

Es muy importante que pudiésemos organizar los favoritos por orden alfabético. Realmente es muy difícil encontrar un favorito cuando tienes varios y también el poder editar el nombre de un favorito de forma sencilla.

It would be less annoying when we are in the editor for favorites if the favorite we are editing cannot be sent to drive map. Currently when in the edit mode all you can do is click and hold the three bars to relocate the favorite. If I accidentally tap anywhere on the favorite besides the three bars I get set to an active drive. To simplify editing use the three bars to provide a drop down list of edits, e.g. move, edit the favorite name, address, etc. This is how most three bar functions work on apps and pc's .
