When i add a favorite i want it to stay on the map all time so that i can just press it and drive to it och share the adress/name

I do a lot of driving for work and leisure and it would be handy if I could organise my favourites into folders whic I have designated. So for example, in my case I could have folders called 'Football Grounds', Airports', 'Hotels', 'Friends' etc. Also then the option to arrange the contents of the folders and indeed the folders themselves in alphabetical order if so desired, but at the same time retaining the option of ordering them as we prefer if we didnt want alphabetical.

I don't understand sorting by distance. When I think of a favorite place to go, I think of the name of the place -- so I'm looking for sort by name.

I would like to group my Favorites into topics. Can I move my favorites up and down the list? That would be EXTREMELY helpful. Right now, my new workplace is at the very bottom of the favorite list.

It would be nice to be able to organize a long list of favorites into files. I have a lot of different categories (restaurants, work places, friend's houses, bars, etc.) and find myself flipping through a jumbled mess of locations before finding the right one. I guess the search feature would be the work around, but I'd prefer to click and scroll though menus over typing out part of the address or favorite name.

Please create an easy way to rename favorites!

PLEASE add sort option. I have a lot of destinations saved. It is a real pain to go down my list one-by-one to find one. Alphabetic sort would be EXCELLENT !!

Those allow you to use existing potential YOURSELF to get what you want without creating gui bloat or distracting developers. You do NOT need to be a programmer to wield intents or APIs

I completely agree! When I first started with waze, I thought I was clicking some incorrect button because I kept getting booted back to the main menu again. It would be much quicker if after save there was the iron to navigate to or return to main menu.

I think adding an option to automatically show favourites as a 'star' icon on the roadmap would also be nice

I'd also like the ability to manage favourites via the web. Waze has pretty much replaced all of my old Garmin GPS hardware/software, but the one thing I really miss is the ability to manage my favourites more robustly. Having to manage it via the iPhone is OK, but there's not really much to manage aside from a long, long list of favourites. So, being able to categorize/group favourites and just have more ability to manage them overall would be amazing—and being able to do is via the desktop would be even better.

Can you add a feature to edit favorites and sort them by name or distance?

When I'm creating a new favorite, it's because it's a location I'm trying to get to right now, and know I'll need it again in the future. It'd be great if after hitting "done" when you've named your new favorite, Waze would then start to navigate you there. Currently, after hitting done, it takes you back to the map and you have to go back into Navigate > Favorites > Select Your Favorite.

I cannot edit the favorites and add more notes in them.

I have to travel frecuently, so I save my favorites using first three letters for the city and then the name of the location. Will be easy to find them if waze show my favorites in alphabetical order.
