Two ideas:

Idea 1: Since you provide an edit capability for saved places, which allows the user to re-arrange them; how about persisting that user-defined order between sessions?

Idea 2: Add the ability to group saved places, like files in a folder. Allowing the user to have zero or more groups to collect saved places in whatever grouping they desire.

I want to be able to organize Favourites entries in a custom order.

Or by frecuency of use, or by distance to the current location, as GPS did.

This is not SORTING, it is MANUALLY RE-ORDERING! Not the same thing! Please provide proper Alphabetical sorting with the Favourites, PLEASE!!

Why has this been marked as "Now Available"? Yes, we can reorder the Favourites, but what's the point when Waze then reorders them randomly?

This was first requested literally years ago. I was directly promised by Waze Support (years ago) that this would be implemented, or at least that when we manually rearranged the order, that the order would remain instead of being randomly changed.

Please, please implement this!

I’d agree with the mass of people who commented on the inability for WAZE to maintain my sorting of favorites. VERY FRUSTRATING!

I would like to suggest most needed features:
- keep order of sorted favorites
- make folders
- sort by distance
- import/export with coordinates into file

not very helpful - takes time and when you add a new one you have to do that one. can't it be programmed?

This is a great suggestion but contrained by the tiny limit on the number of favorites a user can have. Whatever manually sorting a user does is undone when Waze randomly rearranges the list. Edit favorites-
1-Using similar to what Google does for Chrome Bookmarks and what Android does with the amp locker. Within the edits, to have a drop down for alphabetical order or most used favorites, etc.

2- You should be able to edit favorites, within your account, on the waze website
