School bus partnerships
As a parent, and as many otther parents share the same concern, we want to know where our kids are when on a school bus. There are times when buses run an hour late and we have no idea where our kid is. If Waze partnered with bus companies, notifications could be pushed to Waze users who are connected with their children's bus to alert them.

Thank you for sharing your experience!
Quality is indeed paramount, especially when it comes to academic tasks like writing assignments. When I'm facing challenges with my writing skills or struggling to meet deadlines, delegating tasks to competent individuals can be a wise decision https://literaturereviewwritingservice.com/ For instance, when tasked with writing a literature review, which can be particularly challenging, seeking help from experts who can deliver high-quality work can ensure that I meet my academic requirements effectively. -

When writing an essay, it is best to think of it as a conversation on paper. Try to express yourself in your own voice. Don't worry about being too wordy. Just write down what you want to say. It https://www.trustmypaper.com/ will make the writing process easier. It's also important to take deep cleansing breaths as you work.

Agreed. Waze can already use geo-location data for both garbage trucks and snowplows should a partner agency want to feed that data back for integration. Something similar might be needed in this case where a school could provide lat/long points where bust stops happen and geo-location sensors transmitting school bus location back to school admins could be paired with that data so if a bus got close to a stop point it would trigger an in-app alert. Alternatively a cellular device that can relay when a bus stop sign swings out would make sense to trigger an alert. This is how snowplows that are in a feed reach the app so when a plow blade is up (location isn't shown) but when "Plow Down" status is detected it indicates a snow plow is actively plowing. Having that same logic might work assuming you could get the feed to function rapidly enough to transmit the stopping bus and present it in the app.

As a person who is using only buses, it will be very easy for me to see traffic jams on the route of a particular line I travel on. First, Moovit does not show traffic jams, whereas when looking in Waze for the destination address to see the traffic jams - Waze does not refer to the route of the bus, which is sometimes a roundabout in the neighborhoods.
THANK YOU!! -

With the use of GPS devices on school buses, I would like to see Waze partner with School Boards to have an integrated feature in the map to identify a school bus with a bus icon as well as announce a warning message when approaching a bus(like a geofence around the bus). Drivers are so focused on their GPS devices and applications these days that they become less attentive to their physical surroundings. I believe this feature could assist in preventing accidents with not only school buses themselves but also pedestrian children at bus stops that are crossing to board the bus.

I would love to be able to see where school buses are before and after school.

For those with security worries, a route could be protected with a code given to the parents. That way, no one else but the parents can see the route and receive the alerts.

Have you ever consider writing an app to notify parents concerning school bus pickups?
I'm experiencing a problem where the bus arrives early or runs late in the morning.
It would be very useful to have an app based on GPS and waypoints for bus runs and then texting the location as the bus hits a waypoint.
For example, I'd like to know when my children's bus enters our development so that I can make sure I'm at the bus stop in time.
I would "sign up" for a specific bus # and waypoint and when the bus hits the waypoint, a text would be sent to my phone.
Ever considered an app like that?

A bus maybe slow but not static... your report will be old in 5 minutes.

My 3-year-old noticed that we were driving much slower when we were following a school bus and thought our GPS should know where the buses were so it could route us around them. If Wazers could indicate when they were following a school bus, it would help other Wazers take faster routes.
