Disable auto route to suggested destination

Often when I start my day, I'm not heading directly to the office. However, even after I enter a destination, I'll be prompted to navigate to "work". It will switch my destination without my input or any notification. Please turn off auto select for that navigation option. It's frustrating to think that Waze is taking me a traffic free route to find out it's navigating me to the wrong destination.

    YES! This is SO freaking annoying - and if you're driving, reaching it and turning it off before it routes you to where it thinks you're going is dangerous as hell. JESUS people.

    Waze is "smart" enough to detect what my frequent routes are, but too stupid to detect that I cancel the suggestions, as soon as I can, each and every single time it is suggested.

    Why on F earth should a navigation decide to start a route without my consent? WAZE has made me lost 5 rides while I am driving for Lyft. While I think I am driving to pick up my rider, the passenger calls me and complains that I am driving away, or I get a sudden cancellation by a client and I realize I was not driving toward their location. Why should such a high tech app be so dumb? Don't you think that people will select their home or office destination on their own if it's in favorites? Why does it have to be automatic, how on earth do you decide at any moment that it's time for a given person to go home? I always told to everyone that WAZE is by far the best navigation app, but now I think it's the worst because of this dumb feature! Fix it already, no one needs that nonsense feature.

    It also changes my Lyft destinations throughout the day without my input, by substituting my Home or Work favorites.

    This still hasn't been addressed yet!!! they need to give you the option to disable this feature. it's so annoying!!!

    The fact that you cannot get turn off this feature from your phone, but that you have to use a computer, is irritating. I don't drive with my computer! The fact that I have found comments about this feature dating back a couple of years tells me that Waze has an alternative motive for the feature (i.e., trying to out compete with Google) or they really don't care about the people's opinions. I kind of feel that both are true. A simple on/off on the app would be great!

    Give the user the option if they want it or not

    Agree, I want waze as a companion as I drive to my common destinations, not to tell me how to get there (unless I ask of course). Please add option to disable this feature.

    I'm almost never going where Waze thinks I am, and even when I am, I may not want a navigation voice. Waze is valuable to me for the moving map and hazard warnings alone. I can generally route myself without a voice talking over my music.

    and also expansion of favorites to receive auto routing

    I do more than sleep and work
