Through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto the reporting capabilities are reduced drastically. Lost of specifics are taken away from what you can report as well as what you can see on the map, such as car accident being major or minor or on the other side. And some are gone completely. Such as the “closure” reporting option. I drive a lot and am often coming upon closed roads and would like to be able to report it. When I report it as a map error the editors tell me to report it as a closure. But I can’t. Please fix this. We should have full app services through CarPlay and and android auto

I agree with this request, I have the same issue. There was an highway closure, I was stuck in traffic and would have had time to report the closure safely. Instead Waze was trying to bring me back to the same road. I had to fight with Waze to get a route that would not bring me back to the closure through CarPlay. In the app, reporting the closure would have given men an alternate route.

For real, like I'm driving and I can't report it; or at least not easily...

Make street closure reporting functionality available on iOs devices connected via Apple Cap Play. Currently the functionality is only available in iOs when untethered.

expand the number of features that appear while connected to Apple Carplay and Android Auto unit.
Add road closure feature and danger feature to both systems.

When using Waze in an integrated way through the car (such as Apple CarPlay), there are less options under the report feature. Namely the “closure” button is not there, so when the gps takes you to a road that is closed there is no quick seamless way to report this presently. The closest option is “general map error” which requires you to reply to email giving more specifics. Please add the quick “road closure” option, it’s so important to have a quick way to report while driving!

As above, would be great to be able to report road closures on Waze while using Apple CarPlay

When using apple car play and clicking report not all of the reporting options show. Especially reporting of closed roads

There has been multiple road closures due to water main replacement in my city and my directions keep taking me down closed roads. I would like to update those roads, but I can do it through car play only through the actual phone and app

Cuando vas conduciendo y comunicas un error en el mapa, comunicas muy poco solo precio ando los botones, por lo que luego vuelven a ti solicitándote mas información sobre el error pero como ya paso no recuerdas bien cuál fue el error. En cambio es preferible colocar el cierre de vías, ya que en ese momento con esa notificación Waze puede automáticamente cambiar la ruta, pero como no lo tiene, el te sigue enviando por la misma ruta y no hay forma de decirle que no se puede por ahí.

You guys should unlimit the CarPlay app and make it like the iOS app with full functionality like reporting closed roads, pandora support etc etc please that would be Awsome

I second this one. Just had to add a road block in the USA for a quick route re-calculation, only to find it is not possible from CarPlay. I had to unplug my phone, do it on Waze, then replug the phone. Not practical at all.

Why isn't it possible for the Waze CarPlay app to report roadwork in the side of the road? Roadwork is only available on the road.

With car play we can no longer add road closures which leaves no one notifying of a road closure and Waze taking you in circles on a highway To bring you back to a closed exit!!!
