Slow down & move over warning for Emergeny Responders
Warn motorists of Emergency Responders (police cars, tow trucks, ambulances) with a Slow Down Move Over warning. Lives are being lost at alarming rates and any support of the move over laws are greatly appreciated.

THERE SHOULD A BETTER SYSTEM IN PLACE FOR MOTORIST TO KNOW TO MOVE OVER OR FACE PENALTY'S!!! MORE MOTORIST USE GOOGLE MAP, MAYBE MAJOR CORP SHOULD TAKE IT MORE SERIOUS.

This should be included in REAL TIME on WAZE to make the motoring public aware of the Emergency Responders on scene along with a reminder to MOVE OVER and SLOW DOWN.
Far too many Emergency Responders are being hurt or killed due to the ignorance or attitude of the general public. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE, and this is a good way to start. Just hope other services take a hint from WAZE and start reporting the presence of Emergency Vehicles ahead!!!

Please add the SDMO notification to your warnings. It’s not fun having vehicles fly past you at 70+mph only inches away while hooking up to a customer’s vehicle. Or, be the one home praying, concerned and waiting for an “I’m OK” message while your husband, son or daughter is hooking up to a disabled vehicle on the side of the road. The more the word is spread the more help our drivers get to stay safe.

This should have been implemented at the very start of Waze. If it's an event on the highway it should be noted for motorist to be aware. No brainer devs. #getitdonethewrightway

As a tow op IV been hit 4 times and my truck once... Just since the summer!! I have created a channel on Zello called SLOWDOWNMOVEOVER we now have 300+ tow ops from around the country and Canada that have direct communication when on side of highway and for example need neutral release location, answered in seconds! Get them loaded and back on the road as quick as possible

We are called people to be more responsible while they are driving just think for a moment!,,, you know that right now there is so many families are craying because they lose a member of their family because one person acts in responsible,, because they wasn’t paying attention,,, on the road’ just become responsible while driving!!!
Thanks 🙏

you just really need to pay attention . cell phone use is one of the most distracting issues to tackle. make it a $1,000 fine if you get caught with cell phone use while driving. no reason to use via hand held. even hands free causes problems but its at least a better way to go and devices are so cheap now. I am always hands free

Every day we all talk about THE SLOW DOWN AND MOVE OVER LAWS. This is an active way to get people aware and have it engrained in their heads. If WAZE, Google, or any of the other real time navigational apps will add 5 very important words to ANY HAZARD, POLICE ACTIVITY, ACCIDENT, CAR STOPPED ON SHOULDER -- it would help bring our brothers and sisters of the road home at night. LETS GET THESE NUMBERS UP!!!!! SHARE WITH ALL YOUR FRIENDS.

Great idea. The fines need to be seriously steep. A friend lost her son, a tow operator, from someone not paying attention and striking him while he was working.

A thousand votes YES!!!! My son was killed by someone who didn’t Slow Down or Move Over. He was 22 and this was totally avoidable.
