Keep waze on top

When making a phonecall via hands free, waze should stay on top. It's pointless showing the call app, because 1. My screen then locks, so I can't unlock without touching the phone. 2. I can't get directions while I am on the outgoing call...

    If you make/get a call while driving and you were using Waze it goes to the background and it needs manual manipulation which is ilegal and dangerous. This used to work

    Hi. I would like to suggest to add a feature to answer a phone call while using the app without exiting from the app. In Google Maps, it's asking to answer or reject the call while app is on the move. If we answer the call, map display will remain and the call is automatically connected to the loudspeaker. Thank you.

    It’s also illegal to touch your phone in Australia while driving so someone saying “just double tap the home button” isn’t helpful.

    This problem must be resolved fast. It makes using Waze while driving dangerous. (I am using IOS)

    Sometimes I plug in a route, start the navigation, and then hop to another app real quick. When I do this, Waze stops my navigation without even informing me until I go back to the app. Not cool if I’m in the middle of driving and relying on route updates from Waze

    This is a grave problem. Literally, people will and likely HAVE died because of this problem. Not only is that terrible and tragic for the pain and suffering, but if families of those lost sued Waze and Google for this stupid problem, they would likely have a very big, legitimate settlement as a result. So being reckless with your updates. Bring this back.

    makes waze mostly useless for Motorcyclists with vox controlled telephony. Hope it gets reinstated / fixed soon

    Is there an answer on how to reinstate this behaviour - without it Waze is near useless on a motorcycle.

    Create a new widget for IOS14 that shows your current route but only in a half screen. This would allow for other easier functionality on the screen.

    Keep Waze on top of incoming and outgoing calls

    when you get a call it will go back to waze
