Waze really should get a Covid-19 Resources feature that aggregates to users where to get tested (both PCR and Rapid Antigen) nearby, when to go to a hospital and finding emergency rooms, finding antibody testing locations, and provide users with basic knowledge and educational tools.

The idea is that when I want to drive anywhere in town, I can see if the place I want to drive to, or any site on the way, has a high concentration of COVID-19 affected people, For instance if my destination is clear, but a shopping center on the way I would otherwise consider stopping at is marked red, I will avoid it and wait until it is "green" or clear again. I presume that if this information were superimposed on WAZE, more people would use the app. They would use it even in cases when they know perfectly well how to get to their destination. Hi guys, we live in Israel and currently have restricitions due to covid-19 (e.g. wearing masks in public areas). Amit,my 7 yrs old daughter suggested that the app should remind us to put mask on when arriving to our destination and maybe to pop up a reminder to not forget the masks upon setting the destination.

As an individual working on public health for COVID-19, why not use WAZE symbology to alert drivers to high risk areas. I would key this to Ohio’s alert map. That way travelers can see that they are in an area where they may not want to stop if a lower risk county is a short distance away. Basically you crowdsource data collection and aggregate it like we would with any other point of interest in WAZE. Could be color coded to county. Harvard COVID tracking model already gathers county data. I am sure your wiz coders could find a way to put this out so that it created color symbology for the county.

We JUST started Waze today. Driving from Palm Springs CA to NY. Waze took us through the Navajo Nation. When we reached our hotel, we were informed that we had just passed through a restricted, closed area due to COVID. You told us about dead animals, police, even a brush fire. Concept:
Since Waze can identify different users in real time, we can define a structure based around this.

The integration works by:
1. Tracing the path of the person in the map while the app is working.
2. Storing the data of the traced path on the phone so that it can be used later.
3. Distance calculation and time-sync variablrs are included in the stored data.
4. The stored data will expire after 14 days
5. Users shall be provided a checklist of what symptom(s) they have. If the checklist is completed, it will check the data from the past 14 days and shall notify the people with a distance of less than 2m from the user. They shall be notified specifically to self-isolate.

Moreover, this can be integrated within public transportations.
How? A Registry shall be given to public transportations and when it is done, they shall receive a QR Code that can be used to stick in their vehicles.

When the user has scanned the QR Code - people will be registered in that driver, creating a stable group of people within vicinity. When the user gets off, they can disable their status from a group to a solo user. Of course, the same rules are applied here. When a user in that ride were to show symptoms and reports it through waze. Every user that the user grouped with will be notified.

I would suggest you to add « contact tracing for COVID19 to your waze app. You are thé defacto standard app in navigation and it’s only a small feature to add which could save potentially thousands of lives. PLEASE do sth about this, you are thé only ones that could offer à solution that Could Quickly be used by a broad audience.... You could warn people that crossed Covid19 positive people in thé last past weeks and help to avoid people that are positive...

If not other server is possible to do in the current one.
