Today we saw a flash from what turned out to be a very well concealed speed camera that was not reported on waze. I have just discovered that the Police force (here in WA) publish the locations of their mobile speed cameras, in terms of the road and the suburb that it is in. I think it would be a great idea if this information could be uploaded, and if Waze could introduce a feature that announced the possibility of a mobile speed cameras in the area by allowing the map to change colour. Need an icon for these "Moble Speed Units" !!! there's no right thing to post because its not a police officer there or a speed camera on pole that is a fixed location

I travel every day on a particular route and particular time and I don't want to open my Waze app to see what is traffic while going as I will be busy and I forgot to open and get in to freeway. After I get in, there is no way to get out and o stucked. If I get an mobile message or a call alert to tell me a 5 mins before my planned scheduled to start time that my regular route have an accident or total travel time so I can understand and change the route in advance.

If these locations can be marked & highlighted in the Waze app it will be more help full for the users.

In countries where is not prohibited to know where the police spots with laser guns / mobile radar equipment (Spain, Hungary, Romania etc.) it would be nice to have Radar not just Police, among the reporting categories.

The modern radars have ranges of 2km, the app must have option to issue warning in advance.

They just implemented mobile cameras in new orleans jan-9 2017

Waze should definitely add a "Speed (mobile)" option to the existing "Camera" reporting menu and rename the existing "Speed" to "Speed (fixed)".

The mobile should behave like the police reports, but with a longer expiration period as the mobile speed cameras are not moved around as often as police officers move. They are usually placed for a few days. So maybe stay visible for a day by default, or until reported as no longer there by another user.

As for fixed cameras, they should continue to require approbation before being placed on the map permanently.

To the normal mobile/static/fake option, which is for speed limits, there should also be a "distance" option for cams that measures distance between cars.

It would be great if you could share the positions which are more likely for mobile speed cameras.

Here in Germany we have certain spots which are often used for speed controls by the police.
So you could be carefull in these areas.
