Add average speed trap indicator (bar: from begin till end) in Apple CarPlay screen
Now you cannot see when average speed trap ends in Apple CarPlay screen
We plan to work on adding the average speed trap indicator in Apple CarPlay screen in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.

The green side bar for average speed check zones (and congested zones) that is shown when using Waze on the phone is missing on CarPlay. This is one of the most useful features of Waze for motorway driving and should be added for CarPlay.

When I use Waze vertically it shows me green line as average speed zone. But it disappears when I use Waze horizontally. Specially problem occurs when I use Apple CarPlay, because monitor of the car shows Waze only horizontally.. could you fix that?

Would be really cool to get this sidebar on car play. I noticed that on the phone it appears only in portrait position.

Por favor incluyan la barra de progreso vertical que marca el avance en un tramo controlado por radar (que está visible en el iPhone) que no aparece en la ventana Waze de CarPlay. Gracias

It would be nice to have a progress bar for trajectory control on CarPlay, just like it is on the iOS app. The big popup with the close button, as it is now, does not make sense at all. Even better would be if you could see your average speed during the trajectory.

carplay: добавить растояния радара как на телефоннай версии, или хотябы сколько осталось до конца радара средней скорости

This is the most important Feature in Waze!
- Speed Traps & Trap zones is the only reason I didn't switch to BMW navigator om my motor bike.
- Traffic Info is less relevand but helpful since I can drive trough a traffic jam with the motor bike -

Add the average speed duration line in Apple CarPlay, as it appears in the application.
It is something that is greatly missed!

Hi, I've tested this a few day's ago and also with my phone and car it's the same. The green average speed check zone slider is not visible on the screen of my car and also not on my iPhone. Only when I deconnect the USB cable from my iPhone, the green slider appears on the screen of my iPhone. The notification when entering an average speed check zone is working fine with the carplay :) .
kind regards,

The "green side bar" isn't displayed with Carplay connected at all - neither on the Carplay screen, nor or the phone itself. It's only present if the phone is plugged out from Carplay. This is a serious omission imho.

I fully agree, this is the update I need the most at the moment

I have indeed exactly the same issue. It would be very helpful is this is solved, because otherwise the Apple CarPlay function is practically useless on a track with traject control

Vriendelijke groeten,

Traject speed control is only visible when you hold the screen upright and not when you hold the screen horizontal. Since apple car play streams the horizontal screen to the car screen u cant see where you are in a traject speed control area. Pls add the green traject speed control bar as shown when holding your phone vertically also to the screen when holding it horizontally so it shows up on my car screen when using apple car play. Otherwise apple car play is useless to me and also many others.

The green sidebar for a traffic congestion or for an average speed check zone (usually on the left of your iPhone screen) is missing in Apple Carplay.
This sidebar normally indiates how long a traffic congestion/average speed check zone will take (and it’s a visual reminder as well).
