Gas prices are now sorted alphabetically during data entry and gas station info display: Diesel - Midgrade - Premium - Regular. This makes no sense to most drivers, and makes price updating difficult.

Please revert to showing gas prices the same way that gas stations do: Regular - Midgrade - Premium - Diesel.

Cross section an optional user configured range (0-5, 6-10, 11-15, etc.) which will determine distance to a gas station vs cost of gas to find the most efficient station within range. Makes no sense to drive 100 mi for a few cents saved... Basically the most efficient cost gas station withing range while considering gas used driving to the station.

Feature request:
Can we PLEASE get a range filter option while searching for gas stations enroute?

e.g. You are on a long trip and have 300 miles until empty. You want to find somewhere around 200 miles down the road to fill up. Waze shows you gas stations from 0-400 miles away (most of which are too close or too far away).

I see the benefit of getting a bigger picture, but wouldn't it be nice to have the option to be able to filter it to only show gas stations from maybe 50-100 miles from your planned fill-up spot?

better yet, strike a partnership with Gas Buddy! i'm the only Wazer who updates stations along my commutes, but i can check Gas Buddy and see way more frequent updates.

I want in setting add option to see gas stations while driving. I do not want go to search everytime when I need gas. It is distracting.

Your current gas station finder only shows the distance to the nearest gas station. It would be nice to see a gas pump icon on the map. I see that the gas station names appear on the map, but while driving it would bedificult to spot and read those names.

Waze could add to the API the feature to search the GAS prices near a location.

Most moden cars give a readout of estimated distance left in the tank - maybe an ability to enter this and look for the cheapest fuel within that driving distance?

I mostly want gas-on-route function. Or if not navigating, then gas on your current heading. Keep it simple: Show cheapest gas in next 2, 10, 50 miles. User 'options' knobs would be what mileage intervals and how far too look off-route (1/2 mile, 1 mile, etc.)

I see we are now able to plan a trip with waypoints.

I ride a motorcycle and know plenty of riders who use waze. One of the limitations of riding is possibly gas mileage range.

The current gas station (along the route) search on IOS seems haphazard. I can't seem to figure out how they are sorted.

Here is my suggestion:

If there is a way for waze to automatically plot a gas stop every XXX miles along the route, that would be ideal. The traveler could then plot a trip and then click a button for gas stops and the system would ask "range" and based on his/her capacity could enter "80 miles" for example and a sub-question for deviation so they can enter 5 miles or whatever. That way the traveler is automatically prompted (or a gas station is plotted) within a 5mile radius of every 80 miles traveled. That would be a boon!

Because of lack of sorting (at least on IOS) I currently see one gas station 2 miles away then the next is 200 miles away and then another is 30 miles away. Additionally are these distances based on straight line or actual miles along tue route?

To me I like saving gas dollars but not as important as knowing there is a gas station. I don't want to end up somewhere out west in the US only to discover the next gas is 300 miles away. It's important to me to know even before I leave my starting point exactly where I will stop so I can plan accordingly.

Allow max distance on gas prices, or limit it to 50 miles first page when driving long distances, gas over 100 miles away doesn't help if I'm running low

It would be more helpful to have the sorting options of the gas stations (Price, Distance, Brand) in the "Around You" list of nearby stations as three buttons at the top of the list instead of having to go through all of the app settings to change the sort option. Sometimes if you're low on gas your priority is to find the closest station as opposed to finding the cheapest. (I keep my default setting to "Price"). This way would just require less steps to change the sort, that's all.

I wanted to enter a gas station. But as I was on the road I finally got to stop so i could search to see if you already had the station or if i should enter it as new. Where i stopped was about 10 miles from the station. When i selected gas stations, Waze returned only those right around me. I couldn't get an extended radius even changing the event radius in settings. Please allow that.

Please add a user setting for gas station search radius.

I like the gas stations on the map. Perhaps link with Gas Buddy. They have a good system following for mapping gas stations. Show them in the search results for gas prices.

I agree with the gas station on route: sort functionality. I want to see the top cheapest gas stations along my whole route or limit it to 50 or 100 miles ahead. This will allow me to make decisions on how far I should travel to get the best price as opposed to finding a station when I am almost on empty.

-Gas Station Search w/ map functionality - On the map screen (from gas price search list) if a user scrolls across the map gas stations for that new area of the map should be automatically searched and displayed (list should be expanded also)

-Gas Station Search - make a search radius, make it whatever the user wishes!

-Gas station on route. What is on route, how far out of the way is a station considered on route? I would like an option to choose the distance perpendicular to the user's route that Waze looks for stations. Maybe a slider with 1/8 mile intervals to 1 or something. I ask this because I often don't see some of my favorite stations along the route I choose.

-Gas station on route: sort functionality. Sort by distance! (at least that) Sort by distance/price? There could be distance blocks of say 1/2 mile and the list would be in groups of distance blocks with each block sorted in price.

-Gas station on route update. While moving the list should be updated and stations that user passed should be removed. User may not want to look at stations the user has already passed. Maybe a check box?

-(from another user) Gas station info if they charge extra for credit. I'll put that out there too because it a great idea that needs to be pushed.

Making options for this wishes could add a little complexity to the program, but I think the usefulness of these features would be a great aid to the user and even set Waze apart from the pack.
