Having up to date information as to the status of a charging station can be vital when traveling with a shorter range EV. Waze is the perfect medium for sharing. Love it!

Waze should also reinstate the "shortest" distance as an option, instead of always favoring "fastest"

I think Waze should have planning for eletric cars, i.e. Finding right brake spots based on preferences (150kw charging, etc.)

I agree and strongly recommend this feature as it will be crucial. In Sweden EV and hybrids, plug in hybrids are exploding. Huge advantage in Europe is that charging standards are not that many. in Sweden "type 2" is the most common up to 50KW charging. However - I see an extremely scattered system for finding charging stations. There are many apps but none are comprehensive and the worst only supply one brand of electricity provider. There is also overlap between parking apps and charging apps and electricity providers apps. Sometimes I find a charging station and realize I can pay with two different apps. Sometimes only one (which I haven't downloaded of cause) To find chargers in a small city you need to open two-three apps and then another one for the parking charge. Also not all apps allow you to create a profile with your car and more importantly - what kind of connector you can use. Then you see all charging places, even those you cannot use. A filter function to see only certain brands of stations or more important, stations with a certain type of connector is highly recommended. Also possibility to put in several cars in the profile as many families will soon have 2 EV:s.

Route planning to conserve energy is also a possibility in Waze as I see it. Also if you need a station to charge fully (several hours) or if you just want to park for a short period of time and utilize charging at the same time.

I currently have 11 apps on my iPhone (parking, charging, electricity providers) just to manage.

Waze is my favorite app and next year I'm in line for the Cybertruck which is why I looked up whether Waze has any plans for adding such an awesome feature. This would be incredible and hope they'll consider it especially for those in the USA!

Also include NextCharge, one of the apps that has the highest charging points in Europe!

Let the users report charging stations, just as we now report hazards etc. This will be an efficient way to build the database without effort on Waze's side. Works great for Plugshare.

Driving EV from 2015. I'm understand that adding new EV charging point require a lot of time and money in real world. But I don't see any reason why it very hard to show this charging points (added by maps editors) on the map. Idea come from 2013, hope this will be available in 2020. 7(!) years...

Please add the option of selecting Car charging points as point of interest, same as you do for petrol stations.

In addition to EV charging stations, Waze should include other alternative fuels, such as natural gas. In several european countries these vehicles are much more abundant than EVs, and they suffer the same lack of support in Waze.

Yes I would like to see charge points in Waze. I would add ZapMap as a good source of charger info

I've specified that my car is electric and it's always possible for me to have gaz stations informations, but not charging stations.... Why not a deal with plugshare ....?

Something to show nearby or on route chargers while travelling. Please.
