Show border line on map
Since the corona virus crossing borders in Europe isn't that easy as before. So it would be nice if I could see the border line clearly on the map. A thick red line for example (like google maps) or something similar would be neat.
It also makes things easier to navigatie if you know whether you entering a different country when planning your route. In Europe, this sometimes could be the case.
Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

If you drive over a border or approaching, you could show or announce that.
Advertisements could then be the country's maximum speed limits, when driving over the border for about 5sec. -

When zooming out of your route, it would be nice to see the actual states and the borders. Went from Ohio to Niagara Falls and zoomed out to see how far we were to Pennsylvania and couldn’t due to Waze not having any state lines.

I recently attended an ultra marathon in MI. Trying to leave the state to return to NY (I entered from the west side of the state) I found myself at the Canadian boarder. This would not normally be an issue, but not knowing I would be leaving the country, my passport was left home. I simply propose that if a route takes the driver through another country there should be a highly visible warning, much like when the route contains toll roads. Yes, I should have looked at the map, but I made an assumption that I feel is common, I would be warned if the route entered another country, and then returns to the initial country. This is different than a destination that is clearly intended to be in another nation.
Thank you!

When travelling from Canada to USA or vice versa as part of the driving instructions the border should be considered a step similar to taking an exit.

For North up map preference, your car icon should be centered on the screen not at the bottom of the screen otherwise you cannot see your path when you are heading south as it quickly runs off the bottom of the screen
