Use Voice Commands to log Reports with Waze on CarPlay and Android Auto
While Waze allows users to use voice via their phones to log Reports, it does not support Voice to log Reports for users of Car Play and Android Auto. The fact that these users have to use the screen and potentially take their eyes off the road to navigate menus to log a report is quite dangerous. Please help vote this up, as more vehicles are now being equipped with Car Play and Android Auto. Thank you!

So why did you take away the voice reporting? I had it and now it's back to the old tapping and taking my eyes off the road.

It's June 2024 and I still don't see any way too add reports by voice while using Car Play. Pressing the screen buttons is super unsafe.

It is now illegal in my state to use a device that is not hands free. The news reported you can be cited for even pushing buttons on a screen when using apps like Waze. It has to be hands free.

The mic on apple carplay only allows you to search for a new location. It would be much more helpful if you could do voice reports on construction, police, road closures etc

It is very dangerous to have to look away from the road, tap 3 or 4 spots, to report hazards. The more reports, the better waze is. As a user driven application, why are you making it dangerous for us to report the hazards that you depend on to make this app better

Voice based reports in AA and CarPlay is critical to reduce physical interaction with the head unit.

It would be great if you can add the google feature on Apple Carplay like the ones on Android Auto.
This will make reporting easy, change locations, make phone calls and find locations better and accurately. I like that feature in Android Auto please add that same feature in Apple CarPlay.
