Other Side Reporting
You used to have "Other Side of Road" for reporting. It was AWESOME and I used to report vehicles on the other side on the shoulder, and appreciated getting the notification about that. It's only available with the Police now; please bring that back. Why did you take it away?

This suggestion will not be implemented for the time being. Adding more and more options to reporting, especially for less popular types of reports such as other side which will also require another window/card, is not something we are aiming for at the moment. Please be aware that other side reporting is already available by voice using the Google Assistant! We believe investing in voice can create essentially a better and more scalable experience and we hope to bring it to more languages soon.

This wasn't a "suggestion", this was a feature your developers removed that was there before. Stop lying to us, this was not an "unpopular" feature, and pretending we are asking for something out of this world is disingenuous and deeply false. And why do I have to resort to voice command in order to achieve the same thing? What a shoddy and sloppy user experience you have going here.

Bring back button for police on other side and hidden police on other side as sometimes oncoming traffic can’t see the police hidden on a on-ramp or behind an object on the freeway

This is the main reason I use waze over other apps, this is a step in the wrong direction.

You need to bring this feature back. On expressways, police are constantly changing sides where they are gunning traffic.

Waze used to be the standard for navigation now since they have removed certain options for reporting police activity, they have become subpar

It it was there before and worked fine !!! Removing it prevents half of alerts being posted. Please bring it back.

Police often change sides, so it's useful to get alerted about police on the other side.
This can be added as an option on the alert settings page.

I like the feature of being able to report police on the other side of the road, but we should be able to mark vehicles on shoulder or objects on road from the other side as well. I often see both of those unmarked on the other side and I wish i could warn motorists coming from the other direction

I was bypassing and roadkill was on other side. Almost crashed. No notification
