'Please fix avarage speed control camera issue, when in vertical screen position you see area progress bar, but in horizontal it is not apear' has been merged into this idea

Add average speed zone indication on screen to Android auto

In Android auto the average speed zone is announced by voice but there is no indication on screen like in the "normal" waze. So you don't know how long the zone is and if you respect the speed.

    Is it possible that it is implemented in Carplay (iOS) and not in Android Auto? It seems incredible that Waze, being Google, prioritizes another platform

    You have the code since it was already there, so it should be a relatively low effort to include it again.

    It makes absolutely no sense to not have this on the Android Auto screen.
    Also: it used to be there at least a year ago. Why would you remove it?

    There is currently no indication of any average speed check you are currently in, when using Android Auto, Carplay, or landscape mode.

    At least when in fullscreen it could easily show the current average within the section, and even the progression within the section.
    At the VERY least an indication that you are still within a section check.

    There are other apps showing it, for example this is an image of a very popular Dutch app doing essentially the same thing in the bottom middle. (but not nearly as good at navigating or display as Waze)

    The fact that this is not there is ridiculous. Feature parity between android auto and the android app is seriously lacking.

    When using Waze on mobile there is a "progress bar" to show you travelling through the congested zone/average speed zone.
    Please add this to android auto as it is an incredibly useful feature

    Really important to me, it would be appreciated to have the average speed shown along the lenght of the zone

    Average speed check zone bar missing in androidAuto mode. It is on phone, but when connected to car - it is missing. Got fine cause of this lacking but useful feature. (and got used, when used on phone)

    As well it was not puting anything on screen nor giving notification when entering average speed check zone (I was on active hands free call), nor after call.

    In vertical phone screen position you see the progress of avarage speed control zone pass, but in horizontal screen position you don't see this. In car, Android auto shows screen in horizontal position as default, so you don't see when avarage speed zone ends. The same is also with progress bar about heavy traffic.

    Average speed check zone Bar not showing when phone on landscape. Car play isn’t showing the bar too. Can there be an option to select And view ?
