Display of Traffic Lights, Stop Signs and other signs.
Can you please add an option to enable view for traffic lights, stop signs and other important road signs.
We plan to work on the display of traffic lights, stop signs and other important road signs in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.

Yes, and another possible benefit of adding Stop Signs to Waze could be routing: choosing a similar route with less guaranteed stops could save time

I would like this also.

Driving at night through neighborhoods with little to no light can be difficult to track all traffic signs. It would be awesome if you guys could integrate signs on the map so drivers are aware that a traffic sign is coming up on the trip. I know this would be extremely helpful and probably would prevent accidents.

Is necessary to put the road signs on the map and to warn the user when is approaching of an intersection where there are no traffic lights or the traffic lights are not working. In Romania and other east european countries there are many intersections and situations where people are killed or injured in car crashes because the road signs are not visible/the traffic lights are not functional.

I like this idea

Together with the speed limit displayer, I think that displaying the relevant road signs for the road might be useful as well.

For those have windscreen mounted devices with cameras (say, a phone in a cradle), this would allow access to the camera on the device.
This would allow Waze to see and recognise street signs, such as speed signs, speed camera signs and maybe even petrol prices from boards when passing a petrol station.
Pretty processor intencive I imagine, but moma-Google knows a thing or two about image recognition!
This would be supported by manual confirmation, which would show the user snap shots of captured images. Eg
"Is this a 30mph speed sign?"
Should allow edit and confirmation. Like other reported data, this should be confirmed based on multiple reports.
User confirmation should be left to the end of a journey (either planned route or "ignition off" etc), encouraging the user to review and confirm snapshots.
This would also be useful for others without cams, as this would add data to the entire Waze network.
This could even be extended to vehicles, say a stationary cop car sat there waiting with a speed gun!
Additionally, this camera access could also be used to offer a "live view" as some other apps do - dont know whther thats the direction Waze wants to go though...

Let the user community add street signs and traffic lights. As a driver it would be helpful to know if a street I'm driving on has a stop sign coming up or a traffic light so I can get advanced notice of the upcoming intersection. Also it would be helpful to be able to add signs for school zones or yield signs.
I think this would be a major benifit to have this information on the map.

Sometimes the exits are very near to each other. The voice command and map does not help to pinpoint the exit. It is better to display the road name of the road sign so that driver can rely on the signage to make the correct exit.
