The old style where alternative routes were shown in 3 different colours (I think it was blue, green, purple or something?) was so much easier to distinguish between each route in "map view", & also when you go to "list view", the colour corresponds to the options.
The new version shows all 3 routes in purple, so they're indistinguishable from each other in "map view", & in list view you don't know which one's which unless you know the road names used.

Also, when we go to route alternatives page, why does it not orientate the map to the direction of travel as it does when navigating?
Instead the map seems to be orientated North uppermost only so my map appears upside down at times.

Not intuitive or easy to use at all.

Please bring back what whas good in V4! The color coded option for the three different routes was very useful to choose a route from the three ones. Now it's a nightmare. They all have the same color and if you click the second it becomes the first but the first becomes what? The second? The third? You never know what route you have chosen untill it's displayed. Very hard to select one of them just by knowing the streets names. Maybe in your city you will know them but otherwise is very hard to select one. Please bring back the V4 color code for the three routes!

It was simple and easy to understand. Now it's **** to use.

Don't fix it if isn't broken. Just because you have to release app updates on the name on enhancements, it doesn't mean you take away what works fine. Please bring back the colour coded options of 3 different routes in Map View. New UI for this Map View of route options feature is useless as it isn't clear and therefore causes confusion and frustration.

I'm not concerned with traffic lights.

If I have activated navigation and would like to display alternative routes, then I see my current route and two alternatives. These are only highlighted in color when I actively select them, which distracts me from driving. They should be displayed in a different color so that you can immediately see which route is which.

But shouldn't drivers be "focusing on the road"? That's why you don't want traffic lights indicated

it would be a good idea to have a different color route where we’re taking compared to the route around us. Sometimes it’s very confusing what route we’re supposed to take. Both are usually purple . Ours should be like a cyan color compared to the routes in the map.
