Show average speed when in an average speed zone
Show average speed when in an average speed zone
Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Bulgaria has just added several zones throughout the country where they measure average speed by using the toll cameras. It would be nice to have these shown on the map and also how long they are. These zones can be found on the official toll website: https://www.bgtoll.bg/vaprosi-i-otgovori/sredna-skorost/wim

In Bulgaria there are cameras for average speed. It would be great to have a feature to show theese cameras and the speed limit

When can we expect the average speed to be displayed in the application in Bulgaria? It is extremely necessary at the moment because the average speed system in Bulgaria starts operating from 6.09.2025.

Show and warn about average speed in an "average speed detection" zone.
As of 01.09.2025 there are zones in Bulgaria tracking average speed like in the UK.Waze has this functionality available in the UK and should be implemented in Bulgaria as well.

Doesn't fit the roadmap???? This is very important and it's ignored? Should start doing our average always when entering an average zone and when exiting should say what was our average. It's not even being considered when this should be critical???????

When entering an average speed zone between the cameras, there doesn't need to be a notification. Currently it notifiers, you and cuts across music playing. Average speed zone does not affect you because you have not gone past a camera at the start of design

This is critical to implement in Bulgaria ever since they implemented the average speed cameras

In Bulgaria this is getting critical. They plan to fine all of us to fill the budget gap of the money they stole.

Yes yes yes. This was one of my favourite features from the Tomtom days. I would use Waze over Gmaps any day if this feature is added

This isn’t a “nice-to-have” - it’s the reason the majority of us still open Waze.
Speed camera zones and police alerts are the backbone of the app. You’ve nailed entry/exit alerts, but without average speed tracking inside zones, users are flying blind.
People aren’t using Waze for restaurant suggestions or map styling - they want to avoid tickets. Period.
If Steve Jobs were running Waze today, he’d say: “Drop everything else - make this feature work.”

Indicar dentro del tramo del radar la velocidad media a la que estamos circulando

Please add it. It is very important to have.

Mi sugerencia es que, durante los radares de tramo, apareciese la velocidad media que llevas en ese tramo para poder controlar que no has rebasado el límite de velocidad permitido

Waze now gives us a length covered whilst in an average speed zone which is excellent. Can I suggest that the average speed travelled at through the zone is also shown on screen. After all it is the speed at which you travel is monitored by those cameras. Cheers.

When trajectory control is displayed, you car is displayed so you can see how far you already are in the trajectory. But it would be SUPER USEFUL if also the average speed that you have driven so far in the trajectory is displayed also. Eg. If the trajectory control is for a speed of 90 km/h and Waze would show you that you are currently drove 95km/h in the trajectory, you know you must slow down. And you could make it even better if during the trajectory control shows you the currently allowed speed for you to have an allowed average speed in the whole trajectory. Eg If 90 is traject control and currently you have an average of 95, Waze could show that you have to ride 82 for the rest of the trajectory so at the end, you have exactly 90 for the whole traject
