I have to log miles driven for work. I would like Waze to ask me at the Beginning of the day if I would like to log miles. As I reach my destinations I would like to be prompted for a destination name for the log. I would also like to have an option to mark my location at any point, name it and add it to the log. At the end of the day I would like to select End of Day and have Waze save the log including destination names, start travel time, end travel time, miles driven and any comments for that day. I would like to be able to mark a day as "Vacation" and have it add that day to the log as a vacation day with zero miles. I would like to select end of month and have Waze compile a report for the month's data and either print it, save it as a spreadsheet file and an option to share it. Currently I keep a written log for this information and I enter my destination address in Waze. When I arrive I write down destination name and miles driven. It would be nice if Waze would track that info for me since I'm already entering the destination.

Would also be great if you could access stats on your previous trips, this could include the average time for my daily commute to/from work, for a drive to my relative's house that I do several times a year, or to my kid's soccer practice. For frequent destinations seeing stats by the time of day and day of week would be great.

have a way to show the map view of the overview of the route, without having to have waze first calculate other routes

also a Fuel management functionality would be killer

This would be a nice feature. I often wonder how my commute differs over time. Like today, my 55 mile commute took over an hour and a half due to traffic. But I calculated that in my head.

Would be nice to see, actual distance traveled, avg speed, stand-still time and over all time on the route. Then may be have a weekly or monthly chart.

It would be great to know how many miles we have driven using this amazing app.

By being able to track the speed you can use it court to show proof you were not actually speeding. I recently was pulled over for going the speed limit. I did not have the app open, but i do know it still is updated about my drives. However, I could not access the information because of such. But if you did have this app I could show an officer that I was in fact not speeding. He said I was going 19 mph over while i was in cruise control at 60mph on I 494 in minnesota. I was hoping to get a hold of someone who could help but i found this and i know thousands of people would love this ability!!

I would like to know my commute times as a daily commuter to work would be very helpful information to know average commute times by day of week based on historical data ideally I would be a rolling 30 day log of my commute times that I could have it on to see at a daily grain both to and from work start and stop times

can u add history route? from start till stop with average speed, total time spend?

I wish there was record of navigation with trip, total of kilometers and average speed.

It would be great to be able to download the routes of a trip you've just taken. There's been some sights I've seen that I'd like to go back to but can't find exactly because the route was "WAZE" driven.

To add to this...it would be great if trip data was exportable in a .csv format, or better in an API that could be integrated with popular expense management applications like concur. TripIt does this today, but I would rather use waze. All I would be looking for is start destination/end destination, total mileage, day and time to start. The other features like speed, time, etc. aren't important for expense mileage tracking.

I could very well use this for logging my business miles/km's, so I'd really like this too!

An addon feature to query for average driving times from location X to location Y on a, future, specific day and time. This will help plan driving times in advance and may also reduce driving times by evening traffic loads across times.

Record your trip, keep datas of your trip as good as Google's "My tracks" do.
