Although it might say turn in 300 metres, I have no conception of distance and if a few streets are close I don’t know which one and It needs to tell you to turn here about 2 secs earlier then it does I miss streets and need to be in other lanes to turn esp. in the city where there are lots of one way streets and turn only lanes.

Being able to adjust the lead-up time to your own preference (rather than implementing a sweeping change that affects everyone's experience for better or worse) would be fantastic. Let those who want the alerts closer to their turn have it their way, and let those who want a lot of prior warning to have it their way as well.

Można do tego dołączyć algorytm żeby zwiększał lub zmniejszał tę odległość w zależności od prędkości jazdy

It also would be helpful to verbally tell you the next steps right after a previous step has completed. Example - "turn right on X Rd." After I've turned right onto the road, please tell me in X miles what I am supposed to do next. Unless there is an immediate next step, the app is totally silent. Which would be ok if the instructions came a little earlier as suggested here. I have to look at my screen too much when driving with this app. Perhaps Waze is better for usual routes and alerts instead of navigating new places.

It’s mostly for my mom, she really likes the app but needs more of a heads on turns… she’s a bit slow lol

Can turn notification distance be increased?

I have stopped using Waze because turn notification is too late.

More notice before you have to make the next turn so when you're a while back before turning it tells you the next direction. PLEASE CHANGE IT SO IT DOES THIS.

Have voice directions earlier during route. Apple Maps is probably best at this. Such “turn left at second stop light” or “in quarter/half mile stay right two/ lane/s”. It seems at “Y” intersections the voice directions are “just in time”. I guess I am tying to that I would voice directions a bit more in advance. Thanks

I'm surprised more people aren't commenting on this. I often find that I am not get enough notice of a turn or exit. Sometimes I'm practically in the intersection when I finally get the notice to turn.

More lead time. I wish Waze would give us a few more seconds to follow their suggestions such as, "turn here," etc. This gives us a chance to put on our "directional signals" to alert the vehicles behind us that we are making a turn and to be able to turn safely. Three or four seconds would make a really big difference.

Or add a parameter how far it needs to announce the turn on the high-way. I missed already a few turns because it announces too late.

Waze to inform me of when we need to turn sooner. This will help me avoid missed turns :) Please!

When instructions are given to make a turn, I find that it would be better to add a few more seconds so that you have enough time to get ready to make the turn. My husband's van has navigation that is better in that regard. It says, "Prepare to turn .... ", which gives you more opportunity to be in the correct turn lane, if needed. Sometimes, WAZE will say, "Turn left" when I have almost gone by the left turn lane. It would just be adding maybe a 3-5 seconds head's up time before the actual turn. Ideally, I want to look at the GPS the least amount possible and drive around only needing the voice commands.... or maybe different tiers of voice commands... Simple / Normal / Extra voice command options for different users.

Need more alerts before making a turn. Will give Alert for 1/2 mile and then not another until you have got to the turn not give you time to realize you need to turn
