I heard this justification (on waze forum) for not change that:

"Enabling it to trigger every single time even if you drive slower that the limit would cause a flood of complaints from people who don't want "annoying sounds" if they are not speeding. This likely not going to change."

Well, a simple way do solve that, keep the default behavior, but add some switch to turn it off when needed, Brazils users sure will be thankfull.

Totally agree! Waze notifies radar sometimes, mainly when we are driving in highways, but it doesn't notify when we are driving downtown. I would like to be able to configure alerts. At least give us the most important, police and radar alert sound.

i think its better if the sound is played whatever direction your going, in the UK they have cameras that can point either way, better to be safe that sorry !

Tinha que ser igual ao igo amigo, você programa o alerta por voz, por exemplo: de 0 a 80 km/h ele avisa a 200 metros acima de 80 km/h ele avisa a 500 metros de distância do radar no mapa.

As the laser radar can fine the two kilometers from where the equipment is, the waze should alert users through notices / audio notifications, with at least two kilometers in advance. Otherwise, the alert being near the radar, will not help. For Brazilian User.

Sometimes it fails to alert by sound. Also it's too silent. Will be nice to custom your own sound and loudness.

Incluir no aplicativo a opção de aviso sonoro dos radares fixos ao longo da via no sentido de trafego. Muitos radares na estrada não estão sendo indicados no mapa através de aviso sonoro, fazendo com que os motoristas passem acima do limite de velocidade nestes radares.

I completely agree with this request, there should be an option what users can define if they want to be alerted regardless of the speed they are driving, above or below the traffic cam limit.

Tornar o app mais leve mantendo a operacionalidade e conectado na Internet brasileira móvel, que é ruim.

O Waze atualizar todo o percurso e mapa pre definido na conexão wi-fi, antes da utilização da internet móvel no deslocamento.

No futuro a comunicação semelhante de rádio para operadores wase na rodovia, ou apenas por conexão wi-fi.
