iPhone 13 not able to view Waze right side up in cup holder with phone upside down charging. Love Waze and would greatly appreciate this fix please 🙏🏻

I routinely have to replace USB cables because I keep my phone in the cup holder and the cables get pinched :( All those pinched cables are filling landfills :( How often I get an alert that my battery is almost drained because I'm using a pinched cable :(

Updated iPhone 8 to iOS 16 and interface no longer rotates 180 degrees in portrait. Makes it impossible to mount/ charge phone and view map correctly.

After updating to iOS 16, screen no longer rotates 180 degrees. Pleases restore this critical function. It makes it possible to charge with phone in a holder.

My iPhone used to auto rotate 180 degrees in portrait mode, but since updating to IOS16 it no longer does this. I'll like this to be reinstated for the same reason as the original poster - I need to mount my phone upside down in order to connect the charging cable. Thanks

Would it be possible for the screen to auto rotate 180 degrees in portrait mode on Android so enabling users with bottom located charging ports to mount their phones upside down thus allowing charging cable to connected to phone when using Waze. Many thanks.

This is happening on my phone too. Very annoying. I'm also getting two navigation voices.I never had an issue before updating.

Yes, this always worked in the past, and is absolutely critical for a GPS mapping program.... only stopped working after updating to iOS 16.... PLEASE bring this feature back! Can't read a GPS Map upside down when the phone is plugged in inside the car and the screen doesn't rotate like it used to.

I am running into the problem on my iPhone 8 after updating to iOS 16, It always autorotated for me until I upgraded to 16l

The notch for camera shouldn’t interfere. If phone is w plug facing down it works correctly and about 1/2 in at the top screen isn’t being used by Waze so turn it w plug up shouldn’t interfere either.

PLEASE fix this so I can use Waze again.

Waze needs to fix this. It has worked for years on my older iPhoness

Sometime while driving a car, charging (bottom)is on the top side. Suggest WAZE to have feature when allow phone rotation, even upside down, still display readable like a normal screen. Google Map is able to do this.
