    Potential downside. There are enough people that view aggressive driving towards cyclist as a victimless crime (rolling coal, crowding, engine revving, laying on the horn, throwing trash, etc) that this has the potential to quite literally paint targets on the backs of cyclists. :(

    Anything that would make motorists more aware and respectful of cyclists would be a life-saver. That is quite certain. There have been cyclists killed and injured by vehicles recently in this area.

    This is a good idea. I only use Waze when doing highway travel or if I'm not sure where I'm going. It would still be helpful though. Especially if I'm
    paying attention to the gps while driving.
