Time zone adjustment
Waze should adjust ETA to the local time when destination is a different time zone. When you leave Phoenix for southwest CO, for example, the ETA should be in mountain time, not AZ time. Currently, the ETA only adjusts when your phone automatically adjusts as you cross the time zone. It would be nice to know drive time is 6 hours, but ETA is 7 hours due to time change.
Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to have it included in our plans for later years and will keep you posted.
Thanks!

I'm floored this isn't a standard feature already

pretty baffling this isn’t standard.

ABSOLUTELY. OMG! 😲, THATS GPS 101 FOR GOD'S SAKE
How can an app that knows within a few feet where you are now, and where your destination will be, NOT KNOW you are changing time zones?!
Apparently the coders don't actually USE Waze or this egregious omission would have been fixed day-one.

Priority feature IMO. Apple has this feature.

I assumed with all the smart routing Waze does, it would show your ETA in the destination time zone. I almost missed a flight during travel. I didn’t realize the airport was in a different time zone! My fault for assuming the app was smarter than I was - sometimes we take technology for granted. I would still love to see this added!

This is especially confusing when using "go later" and setting your time to arrive at a certain time. I have no idea if the time to leave is correct or an hour off.

I almost miss my flight due to this issue. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Amen! Just screwed up planned my drive to Arizona as I looked at arrival time and had plenty of time. Imagine my surprise when I showed up an hour late! Sucks :(

How can this not be a feature. Ready to go back to google maps.

The fact that Waze still cannot adjust for time zone changs is absolutely, positively absurd. No excuses whatsoever. Don't they have people who just sit there and try to figure out how to make it better???? They should be embarassed. EPIC FAIL

Don’t understand why this isn’t at least an option. It can’t be THAT difficult to implement

Uh, remember Waze is free. And it only monitors up to date traffic, ALL OVER THE FLIPPIN GLOBE, SO STOP YOUR WHINING!!!!
However why in the name of everything you call holy does this app not adjust time for time zones when planning drives. It's like building a thermometer that has no where to read the temperature.
Ridiculous. -

I'm going to echo what many others have said: not accounting for the DESTINATION time zone makes showing an ETA utterly useless.
There have been several times when I've forgotten about this behavior (since Waze is the only app I've used that fails to account for time changes) and wound up giving friends the wrong ETA which causes serious problems with reservations and other planning!

OH. EM. GEE. I CANNOT BELIEVE WAZE DOESN'T ADJUST FOR TIME ZONES. HOW HARD CAN IT BE? SO SUPER DUMB.

Apple maps adjusts for time zone changes. I guess Waze developers aren't as intelligent as Apple developers. 🙄

Can you bring standard time and not military time please to the app .

At minimum show the time zone next to the arrival time so you can quickly tell that Waze doesn't do the adjustment for you.
