"Location services" for waze to be on "while using" instead of "always"
In your next update pls could you change "location services" for waze to be on "while using" instead of "always" as it is draining the battery. Apple suggested this will be one big saving on battery life.

I have been a Waze user for several years; I have now uninstalled from 3 devices because of the always on GPS / battery drain problem in IOS. I will not reinstall until this has been changed.

There is a bug in the latest version which has a geofence running all the time, even when the app is not! This is indicated by a line drawing of a chevron displayed next to the bluetooth icon. It is causing my phone to use up a lot of battery. I can no longer go 16 hours pn one charge! Fix this or I will delete the app and go to a different gps app!

Totally daft. Don't they realise that people won't use until they add this option. Nothing to do with privacy, everything to do with draining the battery

Used briefly until I discovered that it doesn't have option of using location services only when using app. Station it is unfortunate that many people have felt the same way and have been voicing it for several years and they are not listening.

Educate users that the "only when in use" location services enabled setting means that if they background the app and use other apps, WAZE will not work properly on a trip; and add that as an option in the app (with that warning).
WAZE has many suggestions over 6 pages (at least) requesting/demanding this setting. Either say you won't do this (in response to all those requests) or DO IT already.

Please stop Waze from requiring and exact location in the location services. This drains the battery of my phone so quickly it becomes a nuisance.Waze be much more functional if you allow users who don't want to use specific location finding to use only their GPS features.

Shame on you waze for forcing us to share all location services with google. Gps is not enough any more. I stopped using waze till this changes. Shame on google and waze.
