  1. Voice directions repeats and updates

    If I receive a voice message of probable long duration e.g. "Follow route for 10 miles" followed by a period of silence I get nervous after a time that I have made a road selection mistake. An on-screen option or a Settings switchable option to repeat last voice message or current voice message would be reassuring eg every 5 miles or every 5 minutes..

    We should get famous people like "Gigi D'Agostino" or "Nino D'Angelo" and more famous people, We only got AI voices, and if we want to use the voices ad example of someone viral on tktok Italy we need to pay, or a friend-of-friend-of-friend-of-friend-of-friend (50x) needs to share to others friend-of-friend-of-friend-of-friend-of-friend (50x) and it's a loop (or if you don't have a Waze friend, then you need to pay) so it will be cool using like conlavocedi.com and ciaoiosonochico.it voices for an example and add into the voice navigation

  3. Red light camera alerts

    I have 4 red light cameras on my daily commute. Can there be a way for us to delete these locations so i don't have to hear them everyday? I don't want to silence alerts completely, and that seems to be the only way.

    My feedback had to do with a general issue; not with a problem or anything too debug.

    Please have an option for less spoken directions when they are very long and duplicate in nature.

    The Google Map app has such an option.

    Once told to take an exit, I don't need to hear again to continue on the road since I just exited. And then I don't need to hear again that I need to go 5.8 miles, and then to proceed on the current route.

    A simple warning 1 mile before the exit and then as I approach…

  5. Voice feedback

    Give road conditions eg. Accidents/closures/pot holes etc by voice ie. 'Waze - pot hole at this point' or 'Waze - road closed here's. Rather than taking eyes of road to press screen icons.

  6. Log In to Your ElevenLabs Account and Use Those Voices or Integrate the Premade Ones into the App

    ElevenLabs voices are some of the most convincing, human-like TTS voices I've ever heard. It would be amazing to have the option to log in to your ElevenLabs account and use their voices (or your cloned or VoiceLab-generated ones). Either that or you could integrate their premade voices into the app, alongside the option to log in to an ElevenLabs account so users can use their cloned or VoiceLab-generated voices.

    Include a Cypriot dialect with Cypriot navigation instructions (this is a bit different to Greek). You would need to find a Greek Cypriot for this purpose to record the navigation instructions.

  14. Neural voices

    I would suggest to implement Neural2 and/or Polyglot type voices that are available in Google Cloud TTS in the Waze app, keeping the current ones for when - for instance - you don't have internet connection.

  15. Voice countdown to speed cameras (like radarbot)

    It would be a massive benefit to have a countdown to speed cameras and the associated speed limit to be sounded very 50m or so when approaching any camera on route.

    See Radarbot. Very useful but would be great in Waze.

  19. Serious Issues with Waze

    You really need to fix the voice in your Waze app. Some of the time it speaks. Most of the time it stays silent. That's no good!

    I frequently have to pull over and look at the map.

    When it does speak, it always tells me of a turn too late for me to slow down or change lanes without potentially causing an accident.
