Automatically resume current route if/when android auto reconnects
For some reason waze seems to disconnect or reload on Android Auto when I'm changing apps on my phone. This causes Waze to stop the current route I'm on and then asks me if I would like to resume the route. I would prefer if it just automatically resumes the route and I can stop it if need be.

My experience Waze naps used for business address not working very well. They don't take front of business. Some time I can see the building but Waze say in highway your rice your destination. So bad service. 3 time happened.
Resident area okay but Business have to improve please.

Delete the GO NOW screen on android auto
It would be nice to get rid of the GO NOW screen that pops up after already using a shortcut or my voice to text. The go now question screen takes my attention away from driving and my hands off the wheel a second time. It's totally unnecessary because I already used the shortcut. Thanks

Please give back functionality to have Map when connected to Android Auto
Google who owns Android Auto and Waze should allow the user to decide preference for map or directions when connected to Android Auto. Given many factors one or the other could be a lot safer so the new way of forced directions is Not for safety. Need to place a setting to choice or give back functionality. The workaround of reverting back to previous version and Never updated an app is ridiculous cause could miss out on many good features introduced. Come on Google don't be like Apple and dictate what we can do... That is anti Android.

I would LOVE the ability to adjust on the move so i don't have to unplug my whole phone and adjust while holding it and driving in bumper to traffic or negotiating a detour or closed road. Stopping in the middle of the street is not an option and being able to alter on the big screen is much safer.

Allow users to choose to display routes on their Phone instead forcing on the Android Auto
Allow users to choose whether to use their phone as Waze for routes or Android Auto as the main display, instead of forcing it to display on Android Auto. Some people want to stream music using Android Auto and use their phones to see directions, as it doesn't distract them from the road. Some head units in cars are positioned lower from the direction of the road and are more of a hassle to look at while driving.

Bring back the passenger exception
I use android auto and my wife copilots using her phone. Now she cannot use her phone to scan for places to stop or check for obstacles especially in an rv. Waze is now useless for road trips. Back to another map because waze is the only one w this restriction.

Straßennamen wären hilfreich

Es wäre hilfreich, wenn ihre App die Straßennamen dazuschreiben würde, wenn man zum Beispiel einen Supermarkt sucht. Aktuell haben wir nach Rewe gesucht und als erstes steht da ein Punkt, dann Rewe, dann die Entfernung 6,9 km, dann Berlin. Nicht mal eine Übersichtskarte. Kein Straßenname, nichts. Man weiß nicht, in welche Himmelsrichtung man fahren wird, wenn man das kleine Pfeilchen nach rechts drückt.

Eliminate buggy interface
Toll notification in Android auto turns off turn by turn completely when pop up is closed. Make it work without telling me about tolls for hours.

Less accepting rout on android auto screen
Currently to navigate to a saved destination like work or home you need to accept and confirm the rout three times before navigation starts on android auto. This is a safety issue as it destracts you from driving having to look at the screen to see why navigation has not started. Starting navigation immediatly after selecting a destination will eliminate destractions from driving and also make it safer if you're lost and need to get out of a dangerous location.

Launcher not functional
The latest update prevents use on the mobile screen while connected to Android Auto. The button to intentionally exclude Waze from the Android launcher is not functional. The Waze map only works on the car screen (if Waze is included in the launcher). If Waze is not in the launcher, the map does not work on the phone and, regardless of the settings, it refers to Android Auto and only displays line-by-line navigation commands on the phone, not the map. Please restore the original settings and fix the update error!

Add Dismiss/Ignore/Close/X button on alerts and warnings
My screen is constantly flooded with Car on Shoulder, Object on Road, etc etc etc all the time. They take up half the screen! When these pop up, I can't report other hazardous things because these alerts and warnings take away the Report button.
Allow us to dismiss, ignore, close, or exit out of alerts and warnings, rather than just "Still There" and "Not There". There is a huge difference in these.

Roll back android auto update
its broken to the point that its completely unusable in a 10 gen civic.
the resolution seems to be set far too large for the small center console screen. What shows is a button that is far tool to show it appropriately, and the map looks like...well around the edges of the button you can sort of see some map and it seems to zoom really far out (while city driving).
you cant see anything, around whatever button that is, let alone use it for anything.
to make it worse, someone bright idea to make it default to have buttons…
