  3. Turn by turn list directions

    When using waze and android auto there is no way to see the turn by turn list of direction like when using the waze app alone. Also, my wife uses apple and carplay and as soon as she connects to waze via carplay her turn by turn list directions appear on her phone screen while the graphical interface of waze appears on the carplay screen simultaneously. Please provide a way to see the list of directions on android auto too. It is very important for planning a trip.

  4. Android auto controls to left side

    Currently controls on android auto are all on the right side. You need to overstretch to reach this.if the controls could be shifted left or right so the touch controls are ne near the steering wheel.

  5. Waze on instrument cluster in BMW 2023

    Hello. In BMW 3 Series 2023 waze blank logo shows in instrument cluster screen, which replaces bmw maps in instrument cluster screen, which is very annoying. There is no option to remove waze from instrument cluster screen and put back bmw maps and show waze only in multimedia screen. I want to set like old days when I can use bmw maps on instrument cluster and waze on multimedia screen. Please check photo, Link is here.

    My iDrive 8 used to provide HUD integration with Waze using Android Auto. Something changed in the last update and now its gone? This was a perfect setup can you bring it back?

  7. Stop showing my home address to everyone in the car

    There is a menu of previous drives that pops up when Android Auto (using Waze) starts up. Home is the first suggestion, and it shows my home address. I don't want anyone else in the car to know my home address. Please protect my privacy. Labeling it simply as HOME is sufficient. I know my own address.Thank you.

  8. latest waze version in Android Auto is a disaster

    So the lates waze version was so frustrating, that I uninstalled it and went back a version.
    1. The map is very slow - if you try to move the map around to see what's ahead it moves very slow and advances very little.
    2. The Navigation menu, that was once located in a rectangle in the lower left part of the screen is no longer pressable. As a result the menu it self, that it once had ,are now permanently on the screen. But the moved to the far side from the driver. to the top right side. The…

  9. Android Auto update hurts the eyes

    The new updated look for Waze Android Auto is a massive downgrade. The black contrast during the day strains the eyes and takes up a lot of space on the display. The decreased size of highway sign numbers, speedometer indicator, and speed limit indicators are very hard to read. Waze has been my primary navigation app for 5+ years but the switch is so hard to use, it has me going to Google Maps but I miss Waze. Please give an option to revert back, or please make some adjustments.

  10. Bugs in the new version

    After android auto/waze was updated to the latest version, I see many bugs there:
    1) When I disconnect the phone from the car, application remains working on the phone. In previous version it wasn't the case;
    2) Hey google is not working anymore on the new version. On older version understood voice commands;
    3) New black squares on the screen hides half of the route? Why have you added them? Maybe it would be better to add it to transparent box?
    4) If you enjoy the current layout, maybe the user can choose, which layout should stay on his screen?…

  11. Fix the Waze app display to it's original display

    Currently the display is matching google maps display cluster. It is hard to see the entire map during navigation. The old speed limit bigger character size and circle size was replaced with a small box with 4x lower character size, almost impossible to read. Remove the display update and return it to the old display and functionality. Please!

    I was happy to see that Waze could now do split screen on Android Auto. My only feedback so far is if you are using Waze for navigation the "next step" at the top and the estimated ETA at the bottom take up a big portion of the screen. The next step at the top covers the up coming route. On the full screen you are still able to see the route ahead and any upcoming issues. When using the split screen view in Coolwalk before setting a destination the top right quarter of my screen defaulted to quick access…

    good morning, the suggestion concerns waze on android auto. if the driver does not carry the subject of the ztl permit he must first delete the ztl permit on waze on the phone and reconnect it to android auto. very uncomfortable. waze may ask if the route or destination crosses a ztl zone ask if the configured permission has been used?   15. Disable Audio Ducking or at least have choices

    Has anyone actually used Android Auto and Waze in the city; it irritatingly ducks the audio down for every turn by turn. Impossible to listen to the news, or music when it is continually interrupted. There needs to be an option to disable this; there needs to be choices.

  17. Virtual cockpit and android auto - improved turn by turn signs and sugestions in VC

    When using Virtual Cockpit in VW group cars I can have waze or google maps turn by turn indications displayed in the middle of the virtual cockpit screen, only the next turn. Google maps shows indications correctly for roundabouts, u turns or straight left/right but waze indications in the center screen are all messed up, although the notification on phone and the next turn on the central screen with android auto is displayed corectly

    It's important that to be able to view upcoming directions. I often use this feature on the phone to be better prepared on my trip. Suggested routes are not always clear just from their titles and it can be important to look at the directions for each route to make an informed decision. The fact that you cannot access ways on the phone when in the car makes this feature completely unusable even if you're sitting in your car prior to leaving on your trip or if you pull to the side of the road.   19. Some bugs encountered with the application

    I use Waze very frequently for my work. Both as a GPS and as an assistant for road hazards.
    I've noticed a few anomalies in Android Auto.

    When I approach a speed camera, Waze informs me about it and the distance. As soon as I have passed the zone, the "Speed camera" indication remains on the screen and Waze does not provide any other information.
    I have taken some pictures of the problem encountered. If you want them, let me know where I should send them.

  20. Danger zone entry and exit icons with Android Auto in France

    Hello,

    Would it be possible to improve the announcement of danger zones for France (because in our country, announcing the precise location of speed cameras is prohibited!)?

    The ideal would be to have an icon when you enter and another icon when you leave a danger zone in addition to the voice announcement and the small frame at the top left.
    If we could also have on the road, a color associated with danger zones as in the style of traffic announcements, to best indicate the duration of the zone.

    Other applications like Tomtom do so why not Waze!
