  1. Mark red light cameras

    There are new red light cameras in effect in Honolulu. Many are active and more to come this month. I wish this would be shown or easily marked because they are stationary cameras

  2. When you need to take a tunnel (go down in tunnel)

    Sometimes when you drive you have close choices on your way, take a tunnel or keep straigt on motorway.
    We need something that let us know that we need to take the tunnel.

  3. Manual sorting of places like google maps

    I have a list of favorites like everyone but because it is out of order it is hard to fine (Please refer to my "More organization by..." suggestion. the list seems to be in the order of saves and cannot be sorted.
    Even if it is possible to group them in a folder it still would not be able to sort it, Not Auto sorting because of the different names but manual sorting like on google maps. I feel It is a quality of life thing, same as my other suggestion.

  4. Show current time when using Waze.

    I miss the current time being shown when using Waze. Especially useful when doing walking routes.

  5. Add housenumber (voeg huisnummer) button to the search results

    Voeg alsjeblieft een huisnummer knop toe bij de resultaten van de bestemmingen zodat je niet de hele straat hoeft te typen
    Please add a housenumber button to the results of the destinations so you dont have to typ the whole street

  6. "User state" option

    "User state" option: Invite the user to each opening of the application, to choose the way in which it is going to be mobilized (always open in default with the last state)
    In this way, Waze will be able to immediately segregate user data when it does not correspond to, for example, driving a car.

  8. Request Waze make a slight programing change to the on-screen alert display.

    Put the "Still There" above the warning message with the "Not There" below it. I sometimes try to touch the correct response and my vehicle moves just a little and I end up touching the wrong response.

  9. Link Waze with emergency dispatch centers

    I work with a volunteer ambulance corp in NJ. When an emergency call comes in from the 911 dispatch center we are given and address. We have to manually enter into Waze or onboard computer. This wastes time and has many user errors - wrong spelling. Wrong number. And takes valuable time away from responding to scene. It would be great if Waze integrated with these 911 centers and the address and route is prepopulated as we head to the emergency. Thank you.

  10. Show currency after price in fuel

    In some countries such as my own, Australia, we use cents ¢ to determine the price of fuel per litre. I recently raise this as a problem in Waze Discuss as it was showing the dollar $ symbol instead of the cents ¢ symbol.

    Now that that's fixed there's a limitation in the UI where this symbol can be placed. I was hoping the UI could be updated to show this symbol after the value rather than before as that's the correct way to show this type of currency.

  11. Share route from car screen

    Add a button on the car screen to share route with a pre-selected favorite contact.

    I only share route with my wife, but I do this everyday. Currently I must start and share the route on my phone before Android Auto connects to the car wirelessly. A simple button to share to one contact using one app (eg: Whatsapp) would be very useful.

  12. Accessibility

    Suggestion:

    Improve accessibility by offering larger and more legible text options for users with difficulty reading small, intricate, or black-colored fonts, as they appear in the current interface. Even with larger fonts and adjusted text styles enabled on my father's phone, the app doesn't adapt well to these settings, making it hard to read addresses and other details. I suggest implementing better accessibility features to address these needs.

  13. Re-introduce a feature. Back button (on android) re-centers map.

    This is actually not new, but a feature I (and many people I've talked to) want back.

    In the past, when you would roam around the map to check whats to come on your route, you could just press the default back button on android and it would re-center the map.
    After recent updates, it doesn't do that anymore, and instead shows the dialog for shutting down. So not only we have to cancel that, but then find the button on screen to click to re-center.
    Please, add it back.

  14. Remove or change the inbuilt browser in the App

    Inbuilt browser in the application does not comply with the ‘family safety’ settings set for browsers and search engines on the phone. For example, adult content can be accessed via google through the Waze inbuilt browser by accessing googles website within it.

  15. Add "unlimited speed limit" sign for Germany

    In Germany, 70% of the highways have to actual speed limit. This is currently idicated by no speed limit sign at all. However, this might also mean that the speed limit is unknown.
    Instead, the "unlimited" speed sign could be used that is used in Germany to indicate that no speed limit applies anymore (link to an image: https://www.bussgeldkatalog.org/wp-content/uploads/282.png) This is sign 282.

    This could be easily accomplished by either adding a checkbox to the editor to set that no speed limit applies, but this might requite some engineering.
    An easier solution would be to only update the app…

  16. Edit Saved Places

    Please add the ability to edit/delete/add saved places. How are you supposed to fix an address if someone moves?

    There are too ma y steps to report an object on the road. Report > hazard > scroll down > object on road.

  18. Select which lane a hazard or stopped vehicle is in on the motorway/freeway

    Users should be able to select which lane a hazard or stopped vehicle is in on the motorway/freeway.

    When driving on a multi-lane road, there's often reports of a hazard that cannot be seen. It would be more useful for "Which lane is the hazard in?" then select 1/2/3/4/5 so that drivers know specifically if it is likely to affect them.

  19. Don't automatically start giving directions

    I say where to go, then look at rout and options. But before I can decide the app automatically starts yelling directions loudly (in restaurant it's embarrassing). Google Maps waits untill I press the Start button. Maybe that can be an option setting, I HATE your presumption and being forced!

  20. Warn drivers that attempt changing the name of a place.

    Recently I have seen (and rejected) many name changes on places where people attempt to change the name to one they would like to see as a shortcut name in their destinations.
    Waze should warn them when they attempt to change the name of any place and provide an option to properly nickname a routing destination without changing the name everyone sees.
    I usually send them a message via Chat when this happens and reject their changes, but it would be better if Waze did the warning .
