    Hey guys,

    I have an issue where a lot of police reports are actually just speed vans. Where possible, could you guys add a separate report for speed vans/cameras?

  2. Blacklist police

    When there are multiple police reports in the UK in one area it usually means there is a police checkpoint, recently there have been more in my area however me and my friends noted that the police also use waze themselves and press “not there” to remove warnings other waze users have put so that people do not realise and have to go through the whole headache of getting checked. A couple of ways around this could be that you require multiple different users to press “not there” before removing from the map or if a user has been stationary…

  3. Hazard needed for a person in/next to road

    There was a person walking on the road in the middle of the highway, I didn’t have a button for human on or on the shoulder of the road. I had to put animal. People need to know if someone is walking on the highway!

  4. Blocked lane(s) selection

    When a user selects to report a hazard on the road with either a stopped vehicle or object on road, display a view of that road’s lanes so they can select the lane(s) that are blocked for drivers approaching to prepare.

  5. Ability to set an Editor Email

    I've already seen this suggestion https://waze.uservoice.com/forums/59225-map-editor-suggestions/suggestions/41506807-ur-reply-via-email but I thought this would be a nice compromise.

    Let editors set an Editor Email in WME, that becomes the reply-to address on report emails (for those who don't know: there is a difference between the reply-to and sent email address). The sent email can be changed to something like userreports@waze.com and then the editor can just receive the reply to their editor email.
    Just to clarify, by editor email, I mean our own email addresses we already have for editing related things (e.g. deviatefromtheplan.waze@gmail.com), rather than Waze creating email addresses for us.

    Please give IOS users the option to mark cops on the other side of the road as it used to be and still available on android devices.

  8. Allow reporting of Stop Sign Cameras

    A friend of mine received a Stop sign camera ticket in Washington DC. I think it would be great if Waze could allow reporting of those also.   9. Police reporting error

    For the last couple of months, when reporting police on the "Other Side", waze incorrectly places the police icon on the current side of the road and fails to notify drivers on the opposite side

  11. Revise the police notification regarding "Is it still there?"

    Please revise the police notification where you confirm if they are still there. The timer begins ticking when the notification occurs, and if I am waiting at a red light, then I will not be able to confirm if they are still there, because the timer will end by the time I arrive the police location.
    It would be good to have the confirmation of the police 1 km or so after the police location and not 1 minute or so after the police notification. So the timer should tick by counting the distance, and not the seconds.

  12. Single button for stopped vehicle

    Since most of the time a hazard on the side of the road is a stopped vehicle, can we please just have a single button to report stopped vehicle on side of road, rather than it being buried under hazard?

  13. Add an option to disable the "still there" "not there" prompts.

    This feature frequently covers directions, and I rarely pay attention to it. When I do notice it at all it's because I'm trying to check my directions and I need it to be gone. In those instances I rarely know whether it was actually there or not. I always end up hitting no because I didn't/haven't seen whatever it is asking about. You would actually get more useful information from me, by allowing me to disable this feature entirely. Because I know I have reported no on something that is actually there.

  14. More options on Android auto

    Hi there,
    Why waze has limited options when using throw Android auto?
    When you press the location icon it doesn't give all the options as when I am using it directly from the phone(options such as road ahead close) Why is that?
    All new cars have got android auto, I think I should be able to access all options of waze throw Android auto, but that is not the case.

  15. Police info

    All the places that the police icon or other hazard icons show, one should be able to see the details of that icon. Currently I can only see the minutes reported and distance of an officer when in the route mode. Overview mode should show the same level of details when you tap on the icon. It is ridiculous to have different displays / abilities to see different level of details when it should all be the same.   16. Needs to show last updated time of reports

    The app is great, but it needs some new features, such as showing the time of last updates. Stopped cars or police reports must show the last time update or how long ago they were reported.

    Should have categorys for example: Camera Car ahead, RBT random breath tests head, policeman pull the car over some of these examples would make detailed information.

  18. New Report Conditions that are South Africa specific

    With load shedding the robots (traffic lights) are turned off. This can be a huge hazard at night because you might run through an intersection without realising it. The option to report robots being out (power off, lights out etc) would be a great addition.

    Another common issue is beggers who stand in the middle of the road. Once again, in the dark they can be very hard to see.

    Another suggest might be taxi stops. In South Africa mini Taxi Busses tend to stop where ever they like. This can at times create an official bus stops. The ability…
