UK:LON - When driving at night waze should have a feature to avoid side road as traffic levels tend to be low. Therefore, when waze is suggesting side roads at night the journey time tends to longer plus London side roads have too many speed pumbs, which is not good for a driver’s back.

Good evening, I would have an idea to propose to you: It would be convenient to implement a function that proposes the itinerary to propose, based on real-time road traffic conditions, TOM TOM style. I think it would be very convenient for everyone

Allow user to change sounds, especially the missed turn/re-route notification.

Fresh driving license holders
This is probably specific to just some countries but anyway it would be a useful feature to have: in some countries, for the firsts years after you get your license, you have some extra restrictions to some laws. For example your highway speed limit might be reduced (For example in Itali it is 100Km/h instead of 130Km/h for the firsts 3 years with a license). It would be really nice if the app let you select an option so that it takes that in account when giving indications on speed limit ecc.

Would it be possible to have Waze disable sounders when I start it. This way I wouldn't be distracted while driving?

Accident Hot Spots
It would be great to have a feature that allowed users to see ahead of time any high accident prone areas (i.e. a sound or visual notification that shows areas along their route that have historically high reported accidents and what type of accidents are likely to occur). Many of us who drive the same routes everyday know of the areas to be extra vigilant of while driving through (i.e. I have an area along my daily commute that has an unusually high number of drivers who run stop signs. Make the labelling of minutes and mile clearer
The bar at the bottom showed "43 min 40 mi.” - the “mi.” is very similar to “mins” and I often do a double take when looking at this. Use “miles” in full not “mi.” to make it clearer which is minutes and which is miles.

The location for Austin Texas airport is incorrect. It was sending us to a residential neighborhood. Both phones using Waze were getting the same directions. The phones were Iphone 7 &8.

Please consider removing topmost voice control, search, and favorites bar in CarPlay.
Wouldn't it be nice to have this bar removed in order to show an expanded map?

Improvements
Reduce the blue large size line a little bit (1/3). It will help the drivers to get the correct small street that is when the avenue ends and turns to 3 small entrances for example:right, left and straigth and they are very close to each other and the blue line hides the gray line. Even with information on top of app, in some moments the internet takes important seconds to update the information and due to this the driver takes the wrong way.
In big cities like São Paulo it will be helpfull during daily routine routes.

Make consecutive turns easier to navigate
When there are two or more turns in quick succession on the map, it's hard to see which lane to pick from the app.
An example would be, if I'm exiting a parking lot to the right, but right after, there is a left turn, it's easy to miss it, as many times it cannot be seen from the map being zoomed in.This is also a function of slow turning in the app. After making the initial turn, the app takes a while to turn onto the new road, which can lead to uncertainty.

Waze tries to send me back to it's initial route rather than calculating options from my current path. i need more characters to explain.
When Waze gives me an initial route it always tries to send me back to that route. For example i was exiting a fast food parking lot and it would be very difficult to go left. I knew there was a route to the right but it wasn't showing up. I turned right anyway and Waze kept trying to turn me around. I thought I finally drove far enough to get the new route, so i listened when it told me to turn right. Long story short, it drove me through a neighborhood, slowly, making many turns, and ended up…

Waze has a map mistake in my neighborhood. I live on the 9300 block of Avers in Evanston, Illinois. Whenever someone tries to find my home with Waze, they are directed to the 9300 block of Hamlin, which is a block east. Can that be fixed?
