Temporary traffic lights
Add an option to show temporary lights, option for roadworks is great but I think most people would like to know if there’s a set of temporary lights, these can add time onto busy work commutes and this can be taken into account when planning a drive. Waze is fantastic for everything else but this would take it too a new level above every other navigation app.

Collaborative Routing
Waze works like the most other Navigation Apps. You can choose between 1 and 3 different fixed routes, that sometimes slightly change when there is a lot of traffic ahead. The problem is, that Waze works like a broadcast as far as I know.
So when Route 1 have heavy traffic, all other users get Route 2 to avoid traffic. The problem here is, that new heavy traffic will be created to avoid the first.
All cars following the same alternative route.

The "Preferred fuel" should contain EV charging standards too (ChaDeMo, CCS, etc) and list EV chargers if set :) Thank you!
The car menu already provide relevant info if you set your preferred fuel, but it's only for ICE vehicles. Please add option for EV's, and if set, provide chargers as relevant information.

How Far Is 1,000 Feet???
Stop using 1,000 feet to describe every single next turn coming up. We don’t know how far that is. Use “three stoplights” or some other descriptor! Please!

Offer another option when there's heavy traffic on the freeway.
When on the freeway and there's heavy traffic, have Wave offer getting off the freeway and take side streets.

Avoid traffic jams.
I often travel with 3 kids on long road trips. Always rather be moving than standing in place with screaming kids and I am SURE a lot of people would agree. I recently had a trip take 10+ hours instead of the original 7 because of completely predictable and avoidable traffic jams on highways. Clearly not there in the middle of the night when I depart but jams there every day since they are because of ongoing construction work on a lane. I kind of assumed waze already tried to help you avoid these but I guess I was wrong.…

Commercial Navigation
There are a lot of commercial vehicles on the road. I think it would be nice to give the user the ability to input the height and weight of their commercial vehicle including oversized and overheight loads. Editors would include clearance heights when a road level 1 crosses over a Ground level, level 2 over level 1, etc. as well as roadway weight restrictions as displayed on signage (eg: Weight limit 8 tons empty weight) as well as general commercial truck restrictions as displayed on signage. Allow us to create multiple waypoints
I don't understand why Waze only lets us create a destination and (only) 1 waypoint. This makes a great app unusable for many drives. Worse, Waze keeps saying the idea is "Not currently planned".
This idea gets submitted over and over and over. It is clear Waze users WANT multiple waypoints. Come on Waze - time to step up!

Being able to use both metric and imperial/US units.
In Puerto Rico, we use kilometers (km) to measure distance but we use miles per hour (MPH) to measure speed since we are a US territory. In the app, you can only choose imperial or metric. I would like to be able to use MPH to measure speed while using metric units to measure distance.

More re-routing flexibility
I would love to specify how open i am to re-routing before a journey - i.e. being able to choose ‘reroute automatically - get me there ASAP’ or ‘don’t reroute without confirmation - prefer my route where possible.’
Why: I drive a specific one of two ways out of my city when taking a long journey because while the other road is technically faster if you drive at the speed limit it is also dangerous and has poor surface conditions. Show a picture of the destination. when you enter in the address to where you're going show a picture Of the destination and once you arrive show a picture of the destination. a hotel etc

the import or the creation of layout can be a "pro" option or requiring a minimal contribution to each import.
Useful for: landscape discovery trails, historical sites..., motorcycle rides,...
with the information of the time and km of the stage and and complete route.

right click on map and allow "add to saved places"
I visit many hospitals, there are good parking spots that I can identify on the map. I would like to ... add a pin, rename the pin and add it to my saved places.

Add bus lanes and gates in waze in UK
I would love to add bus lanes in waze so new drivers and visitors from other cities will be saved from bus lanes fines. Specially in night times boards are unreadable. It's humble request please add this feature.

Provision to delete a STOP once entered while navigating
While navigating if one adds a stop then there should be a provision for cancelling it. If one does not want to stop then the navigation keeps guiding to the stop.

Option to reorder destinations
An option to drag destinations to reorder would be great. Or just some arrow buttons on the side to move up or down. The current auto-order for multiple destinations seems counterintuitive to me with the way I often use it, and it's annoying to have cancel and reroute every time.
