Waze is too heavy on system resources, try to enhance memory usage
Waze got very heavy on system resources lately. Crashing extremely often. We had 3 relatively modern Android (>=4.4.2) phones on board and only on 1 waze could calculate route before it crashed. On this one phone that could at least calculate route Waze crashed when any warning on map was pressed or when you checked what is ahead of you (when more parts of map were loaded at once). Waze also froze my phone very often even when it was just navigating (nothing was pressed on screen when phone froze). It all looked like OOM and extreme overhead problems. Back…

please do something about that new zoom button
this new one is too small and doesn't stay up on + or - very long. I have stare at the screen way too long to use it. kind of dangerous IMHO

after serveral times of waze updates, i found that currently waze is lagging and even telling me that no GPS . Why ?

fix route mapping
I know a shorter, straighter, less turnings route to get to a specific area, yet Waze is taking me through the longest way possible.

Turning off Calendar notifications
I've tried three times to opt out of calendar notifications, and it keeps resetting. Now I've opted out of all notifications. Shame...but the calendar thing is annoying, I have way to many appointments. Please fix.

je suis (Walti38) routier et de ce fait je me permet de vous soumettre certaine idee qui pouront profiter a la comunaute
1) dans type de vehicule ,une rubrique "vehicule lent " avec un choix de vitesse maxi (110, 90, 80, 70, 60) serait le bien venu.
bien entendu le choix de la vitesse devra avoir un impact sur le calcul de l itineraire.

Icon size is too big in the new version
The icons in the new version are so big that the roads and the route can't be seen, particularly in traffic jammed downtowns.
Can you put an option in the settings to select the size of the warnings?
It will also help the visualization among different screen sizes.5 votes -
Passenger Train Tracking for Waze Users Riding Trains
Put railroad tracks on maps, and allow passengers on trains to see when it is estimated they will arrive at destination. I used Waze while on a train, and it was cool to see my speed, but it kept trying to mark my position on highways.

Unblock phone sleeping when idle or parking - to preserve battery
It happened to me several times and I find it very annoying.
When I park the car waiting for someone out if I leave phone in the car when I reach my destination and I forget to turn it off, Waze will prevent the screen from turning off and will drain out my battery quickly.
My suggestion is that I'd Waze detects that I'm parking or not driving for over a minute or so, it should automatically suspend the navigation activity and enable screen shutdown and sleep until user starts driving again.5 votes -

one button submit police so you don't have to look at phone more than once
Why in the world do you have to click three buttons to submit spotting the police???
That's three times I'm taking my attention off the road. Talk about an accident waiting to happen.
Need one-press submit so you can get your attention back on the road immediately.

Make businesses invisible.
Drove through an area where the map got quite cluttered with restaurant icons. Could you give us a function/option where we can turn that off. Don't mind seeing other waze users. But when the map is cluttered with chick fil a icons become more difficult to easily read.

Calculo tiempo en horas desde punto a hasta punto b
Por el momento waze te calcula la distancia y tiempo desde donde este tu dispositivo móvil hasta donde te vayas a desplazar, sin embargo podría tener la opción de calcular desde cualquier punto a a cualquier punto b , dando como resultado el tiempo y distancia entre ambos puntos.

Be able to block users from adding me as a friend
I have a stalker x-girlfriend, who continually pops up as a "friend" request, despite multiple police cases. Having the ability to block additional requests would make the application safer.

Suggested driving speed based on traffic
Based on current driving conditions, the app would let you know how fast you should be going to keep traffic moving (i.e., if it was heavy traffic the app would recommend a speed of 10mph vs. moderate traffic with a recommended speed of 35mph). The feature would also suggest a lane you should be driving in, based on GPS speed, so drivers who prefer to go at a modest highway speed are in the middle or right lanes.
