Allow users to post information about road closures and hazards in their area, whether driving on the route or not.
I would like to be able to reject one of the suggested routes, if I know that the road is closed, for instance, and have Waze offer another suggestion.
I would also like to be able to suggest an alternate route by entering a road or tapping the map, and have Waze give me the ETA and traffic information along that route.2 votes -

More speed limit values
More options for reporting the speed limits. Currently only shows speeds ending in 5 (25 35 45 etc) but needs to display speeds ending in 0 as well (20 25 30 35 40 45 etc).

x Prediction Feature
A prediction feature. Example: Around 9:00 every Friday in the past 2 months traffic has been stopped on a stretch of road. Waze could put out an alert that says "Based on the past month's traffic use this route could be slow" even if no one has reported. Especially helpfully for being aware of authorities who tend to monitor traffic in the same locations.

Traking travel
When phone connect to car , autostart Waze, saving address During travel record position on map, with speed. When stop car shut down save position and stop waze. Result : map of trip can be available, including road used and speed top and average. Trafic condition can be automatic for or wazers because all cars speed are record and compared with speed limit of roads (if under limit mean trafic, difference in percentage show the trafic density). Look to have one idea Vezma App. Make what I suggest but don't do all that Vaze offer.

Please put the button for friends back on the navigation screen. I use that all the time. I almost never look at the inbox so burying that is fine. I don't see where anything was gained by moving the friends into the menu structure.

Please remove Duane Street, Los Angeles 90039. It has veey steep gradient and is treacherous.
Duane Street 90039 should not be an option due to its very steep gradient.

Remove "Set Address" screen when selecting a Calendar event
This is a redundant screen and should just go directly to the search results if an address is unknown or directly to the Nav screen. Older versions of Waze did this and this new way just introduces delays in navigation

multiple ideas
- when navigating, esp. for Uber, Waze takes me to alleys for the destination address, not to the actual street
- why doesn't Waze show one way street direction with arrows on map?
- is there a way to stop directing me to turn left onto/cross a busy street with no stop signs or lights?
- can the step by step directions show the destination address as well as the checkered flag?
- show ahead of time which lane to be in for all off-ramps on highways

Prendre en compte le nombre de feux et le temps d'attente moyen à ces feux

Avant toutes choses sachez que je suis très content de l'application et qu'en aucun cas la suite de ce mail n'a valeur négative.
Aujourd'hui, en effectuant un trajet, l'application m'a fait prendre un certain itinéraire. Sur cet itinéraire il y a un feu trèèèèèès long. Si l'on arrive au feu vert je pense que ce trajet est effectivement le plus rapide, mais si l'on tombe en début de feu rouge comme aujourd'hui je pense qu'il est préférable de passer par la rocade qui elle n'a aucun feu.
Mon idée est donc la suivante: ne serait-il pas possible que l'application prenne en compte le nombre de feux sur l'itinéraire et le temps d'attente moyen aux feux. Par exemple, le véhicule se stoppe l'application s'en aperçoit et affiche un message "Etes vous arrêtez à un feu rouge ? Oui ou non". Si l'utilisateur réponds oui un décompte du temps d'arrêt commence et s'arrête dès que la voiture repart. Au fil du temps, le nombre de données augmente et la moyenne d'affine.
Qu'en pensez-vous ?

I am sending you -as afollows- one idea from Hungary in order to make the user's experience higher and avoiding of punishments due to speed limit's exceeding more efficient.
There is an official and always right on time updated website of the Hungarian National Police:

where you can find all the excel sheets, showing the exact geographic place, date and time schedule of using the mobile portable speed control devices in the whole territory of the country, shared on a county basis, and the capital city (Budapest) separated.
IDEA: integrate (and update in real time) into Waze automatically the speed controls above! It would be a fantastic development!

In the navigation screen, a button to make api calls to Shazam would be nice.
When I am driving and using Waze, it would be extremely useful to have the easy ability to shazam a song that may be playing on the radio. Having an API call/relationship with Shazam would mean you don't need to reinvent the wheel, and my id'd songs would remain with the same app I always use to id songs.

Change 'Return' key to add line break, not 'Enter' when editing Places info
When editing Place info in the app (any version), currently Android does 'Enter' with the Return key,
I need to be able to add line breaks in the 'Details - About' box for data clarity, e.g. daily sub-department hours that are different from the main ones already listed.
Would be most helpful to to change the Return key response to instead add line breaks for just that box or even other sections. The Done key already takes care of accepting the edit. This behavior already applies to the WME.

Present chances of delays / early arrival
Ill try to explain it by steps:
Entered my destination and started on navigating.
I know that the ETA is not accurate as there is a high probability to be delayed!
This very important information isn't written anywhere, so i have to take it into account.
I'm taking the same route every morning, having me adding about 30 mins to the ETA that WAZE shows.
Can I have WAZE presenting the probability (percentage) of delays and how long it will be?
This information can be calculated based on historical data, live data and reappearance (which is everyday).Please don't show me an ETA of 1hr while I an being delayed every time in about 20-30 mins.
Ill be happy to explain more.

New idea to add to Waze alerts from Green Bay, Wisconsin. BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) — Drivers using some of the major interstates and highwa
BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) — Drivers using some of the major interstates and highways in Northeast Wisconsin will now notice a new alert on message boards warning them when there’s a wrong-way driver.
It is one of the scariest moments drivers could face — heading down the highway or interstate at 70 miles an hour and headlights come straight at you.
Brown County Sheriff’s Patrol Captain Dan Sandberg says it’s all too common and often ends with someone injured or killed, as happened on I-41 in southern Brown County in August.
“It’s almost a weekly occurrence that we have somebody wrong way on the highway. Just recently, again last week, had another wrong way driver on (Interstate) 43,” says Sandberg.
So when he saw a story we aired recently about message boards in Milwaukee County alerting people about wrong way drivers, he set to work to make it possible here.
A few phone calls and one meeting later, the new alert system was activated last Thursday.
Four days later, it was already put to use for an elderly driver going the wrong way on I-43.
“It could take the officers, depending on where they are, anywhere from a couple minutes to five minutes to 10 minutes to get in that area, and that’s extra time we can warn whoever’s driving on that highway,” says Sandberg.
“And that way people can be paying attention to it, because if you’ve got two vehicles at speeds of 70-75 miles an hour towards each other, you don’t have much time to react.”
Here’s what happens: The 911 call comes into the Brown County Communications Center. Deputies are dispatched, and immediately dispatchers then call the State Traffic Operations Center in Milwaukee, which controls DOT message boards and cameras.With the punch of a few buttons, an alert reading “wrong way driver reported: use caution” will appear on message boards on the roads where the driver was last seen.
“If you see a sign come up, what you need to do is start paying attention to every car that’s coming in the opposite direction of you to ensure that vehicle is actually on the correct side of the roadway,” advises Sandberg.
He says most wrong way drivers are in the left lane, thinking they’re on a two lane road, so if you see one, stay to the right and call 911.
Sandberg says, currently, alerts can broadcast on message boards on Highways 172 and 29 and Interstates 43 and 41, where he says the majority of wrong way drivers are reported.
But this is not just happening in Brown County. Sandberg says the Department of Transportation is working to expand the system to Outagamie and Winnebago Counties, too.

An API so that when you enter a destination into Waze, then Waze can inform other web services (such as IFTTT) to use this. For example, Nest (also part of Google) has an API that includes telling it when you will get home to it can preset the heating.
