Loading Status
I find that usually waze appears to load quite quickly, but will then freeze intermittently and loosing GPS lock whilst actually finishing 'loading' (Contacting server etc). It would be good it some form of message or progress bar could be shown so that it is obvious that it is still loading and not actually frozen

ambulance alert by location
With increased distractions in traffic, whether due to high driver concentration or the use of loud music, the approach of an ambulance responding to an emergency often goes unnoticed. In light of this, it would be extremely useful if Waze offered a feature capable of alerting drivers to the passage of an ambulance on a rescue mission. The proposal consists of a visually striking, flashing, full-screen alert that would only disappear after user confirmation via a button. This alert would be triggered by the ambulance crew themselves, through a specific and differentiated login, allowing the notification to be sent to vehicles ahead, on the same road and in the same direction of travel. This functionality would significantly contribute to opening up passage in locations where there are no dedicated emergency lanes or where, due to a lack of traffic education, drivers do not react appropriately to the approach of emergency vehicles — a common reality in many countries. In addition to saving time, this measure has the direct potential to save lives.

Police points
Can you give points for a police officer only after it’s been “liked” or “confirmed” by someone else. It seems a lot of people randomly report police when no one is there and I feel like it’s just for points. Like I’m literally driving and out of nowhere it pops up on my alerts right in front of me but there’s no cop present. Also if there’s one cop can you set a proximity alert so people don’t report like 5 of the same cop.

Real-Time "Reckless Driver" Alert to Improve Road Safety
A proposal to introduce a new reporting category that allows users to alert others about reckless or dangerous driving in real-time, enabling nearby drivers to take precautionary measures and prevent accidents.
The Problem:
Reckless drivers (excessive speeding, weaving between lanes, aggressive tailgating) pose an immediate threat to everyone on the road. Currently, law-abiding drivers have no way of receiving an early warning about a dangerous vehicle approaching them. In many cases, this lack of awareness leads to severe accidents that could have been avoided if drivers had a few seconds to react.Proposed Solution:
Add a new report type under the "Report" menu: "Reckless Driving."
Reporting: A simple tap to record the location and time of the incident.
Alerting Others: Drivers within a specific radius (e.g., 1–2 km ahead of the reporter on the same route) will receive a voice and visual alert: "Caution: Reckless driving reported ahead. Stay alert and keep to the right lane."Mitigating False Reports (Quality Control):
To prevent misuse or "spam" reports, the feature can include the following safeguards:
User Trust Score: The ability to report reckless driving would be restricted to veteran users with high "Waze Points" or established credibility (e.g., Waze Warrior level and above).Multi-User Verification: An alert will only be broadcasted to the wider community if at least two or three independent users report the same behavior within a short timeframe.
The Benefit:
Saving Lives: Giving drivers a few seconds to slow down or move to the right lane can be the difference between a collision and a "near miss."Enhanced Safety Awareness: This aligns with Waze’s mission of "outsmarting traffic together" by adding a critical layer of proactive safety.
Data for Authorities: Aggregated data on frequent reckless driving zones can help traffic enforcement prioritize high-risk areas.
I believe this feature would be a significant step forward in making our roads safer for the entire Waze community.

wrong navigation for address
Wrong location on Waze
Please note that waze misdirects its users as to the following address:
Ketzot Hachoshen 22, Modiin Ilit, Israel.
Currently typing this address sends the driver to the wrong side of the street.
There is no option to add a map, so please check Google Maps and fix accordingly. Needless to say, this mistakes causes difficulties and delays, particularly for shipping services.
Thank you for taking care of this ASAP.1 vote -

Add a “Leaving parking spot” community report
Waze already has a strong community reporting culture for traffic, hazards and police. A similar approach could be used for parking. When a user is parked, there could be a simple optional button like “I’m leaving this spot”. After confirmation, Waze would mark that location as recently vacated and show it to nearby drivers for a short time window (e.g. 5–10 minutes) and within a limited radius. This would be a community-driven signal, not a guaranteed or legal parking spot, similar to other crowdsourced reports in Waze. The feature could be opt-in, anonymized, time-limited, and removed automatically after a few minutes to avoid outdated information.
Such a community parking report could reduce cruising time, unnecessary traffic, and frustration in dense urban areas, while staying fully aligned with Waze’s crowdsourced philosophy.Waze already has a strong community reporting culture for traffic, hazards and police. Smarter framing
The smart auto zoom now is fine, but I can’t help but notice that other navigators also change the angle of view in order to properly show the next manoeuvre instead of just having the POV right behind the cursor. An exceptionally good example is apple maps, which is lacking in many other departments but excels extremely in this one.

Development on increasing safety and careful driving
I propose a development that I believe will make drivers drive more carefully and thoughtfully. The way to do this is by displaying written and voice messages as well as displaying images. For example, when the driver increases the speed beyond the speed limit, he is shown a picture of his loved ones (parents, spouses, children, pets, etc.) accompanied by a message they convey to the driver in their voice (for example, the voice of a boy or girl, the barking of a dog or the meowing of a cat, etc.) A message such as: "You are driving above the speed limit, please drive carefully, we are waiting for you at home"; "It is important to us that you arrive home already, but it is more important to us that you arrive safe and sound." The user will upload a picture of his loved ones to the app, and then the app will randomly decide which of the loved ones will "upload" and deliver the message. AI can be used to produce a picture/video in which the loved one is seen speaking while delivering the message to drive carefully.
Even in cases where the user chooses not to upload a picture of their loved ones, you can simply send them visual messages (pictures of cars after an accident, ambulances, etc.) and ask them to drive carefully. You could consider displaying data like "In the last year ____ people did not reach their destination due to careless driving. Help us fight this phenomenon, etc.)
Of course, the topic can be expanded. However, I assume the idea has been conveyed

Navigation Arrow Direction Not Updating While Parked
When starting navigation from a parking lot or store, the direction arrow does not rotate with the phone’s orientation. Unlike Google Maps, Waze only updates direction after the car starts moving, which can be confusing when deciding whether to turn left or right.

Saved Addresses
I have a proposal, can you please make like pages for the saved addresses list? after a certain amount it doesn’t show the rest of the list, and I don’t know the other saved addresses I have past like 50 or 100, I can’t even the see the name I put for those addresses, it would be better if we have access to the complete list of saved addresses instead of a limited amount.

Feature Proposal: Waze Order-Ahead Integration
"Syncing the Drive with the Kitchen"
1. The Problem Currently, users must juggle two separate tasks when picking up food: navigating through traffic and timing their order. If the user orders too early, the food gets cold.If they order too late (or wait until they arrive), they end up idling in parking lots or double-parking, causing traffic congestion—the very thing Waze aims to solve.
2. The Solution: "Waze Pick-Up"A seamless integration within the Waze app that allows users to place a "Quick-Order" for takeaway when they set their destination to a supported restaurant or coffee shop. How it works:Smart Timing: Based on the user’s Live ETA, Waze sends a signal to the restaurant's Point of Sale (POS) system. The "Fresh" Trigger: Instead of a static "15 minutes," the restaurant is notified to start the order when the driver is exactly $X$ minutes away, ensuring the food is ready the moment the wheels stop.Voice-First Interaction: Drivers can re-order "The Usual" via voice command to keep their eyes on the road.
3. Key BenefitsFor the User: Zero wait time and a safer, hands-free way to manage errands while driving. For the Community: Reduces "double-parking" and traffic bottlenecks near busy storefronts caused by drivers waiting for orders. For Waze/Google: Creates a new revenue stream through affiliate partnerships with food platforms (like Olo, UberEats, or Square) and keeps users inside the Waze ecosystem longer.
4. User Flow ExampleSearch: User searches for "Starbucks" or "Pizza" in Waze.Action: A "Order for Pickup" button appears next to "Go."Refine: User selects a "Quick-Menu" item (e.g., "Large Americano").Drive: Waze monitors the ETA. If the driver hits a traffic jam, the restaurant is automatically notified to delay the start of the order.Arrive: User arrives; food is ready; traffic keeps moving."Syncing the Drive with the Kitchen"
