Passenger mode
I love sharing and reporting road information to other drivers – even as a passenger. However, there are no options for me to do that if I am not driving myself (in a car or bus, or even as a pedestrian). This is strange, given that the driver shouldn’t be distracted from the road anyways. Therefore, I am proposing a new function: The Waze Passenger mode. There, users can report anything on the road, without navigating. This could be designed in a gamification environment, so that people are incentivized to make the maps better.

Can't tell what version the app is on Android Play Store.
How do I install the NEW app of Waze. My Android phone does not distinguish between editions of the app? I want to install the latest update.

New permanent speed photo camera in Rio Rancho NM 87124
There is a new permanent speed camera installed on Southern Blvd on the Southside of the street between Sally circle SE and May circle SE. Brand new and taking lots of pictures of people going by. No one know about this yet, would like you to put it in then Waze driving app. Didn't know where else to post this..

Adding Multi Stops
It would be good to have the Google or TomTom ability to add multiple stops for route planning days out for us motorcyclists.

fuel prices by payment method (cash vs credit)
In Israel, many fuel stations have different prices depending on the payment method (cash vs credit card).
Currently, Waze allows entering only one fuel price per station, which often leads to misleading or incorrect information for drivers.
Please add support to enter (and search) separate fuel prices by payment method
This would significantly improve price accuracy and user trust, especially in regions where payment-based pricing is common.1 vote -

Pouvez-vous donner la possibilité d’ajouter la possibilité de signaler une importante fumée.
J’ai utilisé le signalement « pollution » pour indiquer une fumée importante, mais ça n’est pas super pertinent.

Remove “Work” and/or “Home”
In “Settings” allow user to turn off Work and/or Home saved locations. I am retired so Work is a useless setting taking up space and can’t be removed. I’d prefer to save my custom locations in that space.

Unit numbers
Allow unit/apartment numbers within addresses. There are cases where a housing complex is comprised of unnamed roads and all units are addressed as a single address plus unit number. There is no good way to handle this in the map editor. If at a minimum an RPP address could include a unit or apartment number, routing could work for the individual units. Please make this happen for us editors!

Quick TOLL route button
Similar to the other TOLL suggestions, it would be great to have a quick toggle button to tell me what the travel time would be on a toll route vs regular route. This is similar to your HOV route - there's an option. This way we can quickly compare routes. And giving three route options is good too. Keeping it consistent.
Having to go into settings each time is a nuisance. Sometimes a toll is worth the money on time saved.
Side note: Toll Prices have increased in 2026... ie. 407 ETR. Not sure of pricing is updated, and if not, would be awesome if you can. Thanks!

Un mode signal sonore nous indiquant quand c'est important de regarder l'écran pour ne rien rater d'essentiel sans être trop dérangé
J'ai une suggestion je crois assez simple à réaliser qui changerait radicalement (en bien !) l'utilisation de Waze : un mode son "signal sonore consulter l'écran".
Beaucoup de mes connaissances, moi même et mes collègues qui faisons beaucoup de route sommes très dérangé par le guidage sonore beaucoup trop bavard qui interrompt sans cesse la musique ou la radio au point d'en gâcher l'écoute alors que ce sont les choses qui nous font supporter et même parfois apprécier les longues heures de route... J'ai testé le réglage son "moins bavard" mais je n'ai pas vu la différence avec le guidage vocal classique.
Résultat : quasiment tout le monde coupe le guidage sonore, mais nous nous retrouvons alors à devoir regarder l'écran quasiment tout le temps pour être sûr de ne pas rater un changement de route, ce qui est fatiguant, stressant (donc au final même dangereux pour les grands rouleurs), et nous avons mieux à faire.
J'ai raté de nombreuses fois des changements de direction quand je relâche un peu mon attention sur l'écran, ce qui engendre de grosses pertes de temps et gâche de l'essence.Ma suggestion est donc de proposer un mode signal sonore avertissant qu'il faut consulter l'écran, qui emettrait seulement un signal sonore quand il est important de regarder l'écran, c'est à dire pour :
- les alertes (si celles ci sont sélectionnés)
- les changements de direction (dont évidemment les sorties d'autoroute à prendre).
Précision importante : pas besoin de signal sonore pour un rond point (il y a beaucoup de rond point en France en tout cas), puisque quand on arrive à un rond point nous savons bien que nous avons une direction à prendre et nous regardons donc forcément l'écran sans qu'on nous le signale.Merci d'avoir prêté de l'attention à mon message, je crois vraiment que vous changeriez l'appréciation de beaucoup de gens sur Waze avec cela, on aime Waze mais le guidage vocal énerve vraiment beaucoup de gens. Cela aiderait énormément à retrouver le plaisir de conduire.

Option to have two different vehicle types on one account that you can easily switch between eg car and truck
I have a car and a truck, each has slightly different needs, one is EV one is diesel, one is a normal car one cannot access height, width restricted areas etc. Would be great to be able to add both vehicles on app and then switch between them before routing

Police report aprox 15km in advance
I suggest reporting to the police about 15 km in advance because they hide the radar several km behind and Waze notifies you in fewer km being too late. Announcing about 15 km in advance helps you be more cautious until you reach the police crew

Animals
I just passed about 15 deer grazing right next to the road on a stretch of highway where deer are commonly hit and the speed limit is 75. It would be great to warn other drivers. I suggest an animals category under hazards.

Waze share the drive with a friend.
Share a drives destination with a friend or friend group, where everyone could see others in their navigation map.
And other friends could ether suggest or set a new destination to everyone. This could be acomplished by setting a user level within the group.
Also would be cool to have option to make these groups multiple and enable or disable them.1 vote
