Add setting option to keep navigation on phone when using Android Auto.
I keep my phone by the steering wheel so my eyes do not leave the road. Android Auto is for my passengers. I don't look at it while driving! Many people are like me. I even downgraded my Waze to get past this issue. But the downgrade no longer works! So I have to disable Android Auto to safely use Waze!!!!!

Parceria com o Uber. A gente vê a rota e já linka no Uber.
Toda vez que vou traçar uma rota fico pensando que poderia ter um link direto com o Uber para eu ter a opção de ir com meu carro ou ir de carro de aplicativo. O trânsito está cada vez mais caótico e vagas para estacionar pior ainda. Muitas vezes é menos estressante e mais rápido ir de Uber.

CarPlay Favourite Option
I believe to reduce time taking eyes off the road you should be able to select a favourite such as car on side of the road so instead of having to search through the menu while driving and possible taking your eyes off the road for too long you can quickly select it which would make it much safer

ICE
With everything thats going on and how hard this is on all families. Illegal or not i suggest adding something that says ICE reported for immigration custom enforcement like you have one that says police reported ahead. This would help many families be aware.

Viele Nutzer wünschen sich eine einfache Möglichkeit, bestimmte Streckenabschnitte (z. B. bevorzugte Landstraßen oder eine bestimmte Autobahnauffahrt) in die Routenplanung einzubeziehen, ohne dazu komplizierte Zwischenziele setzen zu müssen. Aktuell führt die strikte Orientierung an der „optimalen“ Route in ländlichen Gebieten oder an komplexen Autobahnzugängen oft zu unnötigen Abbiegungen, Schleifen oder unnatürlichen Umwegen.
Ich schlage zwei Funktionen vor, die dieses Problem effizient lösen würden:
- Routen-Form-Punkte (Route Shaping Points)
Leicht platzierbare Punkte, die als weiche Präferenzen dienen. Sie formen den Verlauf der Route, ohne tiefe Eingriffe oder starre Zwischenstopps.
Eigenschaften:
Priorität einstellbar (niedrig/mittel/hoch)
Einflussradius wählbar
Flexibel: Route bleibt dynamisch, Live-Verkehr wird weiterhin berücksichtigt
Schnell und intuitiv in der Karte setzbar
Nutzen:
Mehr Kontrolle über bevorzugte Straßen, ohne die Flexibilität des Routings zu verlieren.
- Nahtloser Autobahn/Landstraßen-Modus
Ein konfigurierbarer Modus, der intelligent entscheidet, wann ein Wechsel zwischen Autobahn und Landstraße sinnvoll ist – um unnötige Abbiegungen oder komplizierte Ortsdurchfahrten zu vermeiden.
Optionen:
Aktivierbar global oder pro Route
Modi wie „Komfort“, „Präzise“ oder „Sparsam“
Schwellenwerte für Zeitersparnis und Umwege
Optional auch Sprachbefehle
Nutzen:
Natürlichere, flüssigere Routings ohne starre Vorgaben. Ideal bei komplexen Auffahrten oder gemischten Strecken.
Warum Waze das implementieren sollte
Deutlich bessere Benutzerkontrolle ohne Verlust der Echtzeit-Flexibilität
Weniger Frust durch unnötige Abbiegungen und künstliche Umwege
Starker Mehrwert gegenüber anderen Navigations-Apps
Technisch umsetzbar, da moderne Routing-Engines bereits multiple Präferenzen verarbeiten können

Along with that, include an option that lets the app switch seamlessly between local roads and highways whenever it’s the most direct flow, instead of forcing unnecessary turns, detours, or complicated reroutes.The idea is to give users more precise control over how the route should run while still keeping all traffic-based optimizations active. This would avoid situations where Waze tries to bypass a direct connection just because of how it categorizes certain road types. התראה על מפגעים
אני מדווח די הרבה על סכנות ומפגעים במסלול בו אני נוסע. אבל כאשר אני מקבל התראה על מפגע או משטרה או מצלמת מהירות ההודעה נשארת לאורך זמן עד שאני עובר את מיקום ההתראה וזה בסדר גמור רק מה כאשר ההתראה מוצגת אין אפשרות לדווח באותו זמן על מפגעים כי מהממשק נעלם "המשולש" עם + בתוכו שלחיצה עליו מאפשרת לך לדווח על מפגע וסוג המפגע לא מוצגת על המסך

Na de melding "aankomsttijd update" crashed de route. De app zekf blijft wel actief. Dit is met Apple carpkay.

Fallout icons
Using things from the video game and show fallout such as a nuka cole bottle as the car icon, power armor helmet or vault boy/girl as the mood icons. Maybe use a pipboy style for navigation.

Light
I'm not the first one to comment about adding traffic light. But what I want to add is sometimes it's better to go through a traffic light in case of a busy road which is much harder to turn without the light

Add friends back.
This is what set Waze apart from other navigation apps and the reason I initially started using it. Allowing users to see the status of friends or create group drives without needing FB accounts would definitely attract a larger user base.

Indications vocales
Entre le mode son complet et alerte uniquement il manque un mode trajet/route/autoroute qui indiquerai seulement les changements de direction importants, sortie d'autoroute....

Automatic Protection Against False Report Modifications
I would like to request a feature that detects and restricts users who repeatedly remove or modify valid reports, such as police presence, without a legitimate reason. In some areas, authorities have been clearing active reports intentionally to hide their locations, which reduces the reliability of Waze information for other drivers.
It would be beneficial if Waze could implement an automated system to identify frequent false removals and take appropriate action (e.g., warnings or temporary bans), helping maintain the accuracy and trustworthiness of the reporting system.
