geotagged photo's
Add a function to take geotagged photo's and show them on the map. This way you can take a picture of a street sign, and later enter the street name in cartouche without having to look it up on another map

Loading Status
I find that usually waze appears to load quite quickly, but will then freeze intermittently and loosing GPS lock whilst actually finishing 'loading' (Contacting server etc). It would be good it some form of message or progress bar could be shown so that it is obvious that it is still loading and not actually frozen

Live Average Speed Tracking in Section Control Zones
Waze currently displays the instantaneous speed, which is helpful for fixed speed cameras. However, in Average Speed Check zones (section control), knowing the current speed is not enough.
I suggest that Waze should calculate and display the actual average speed from the start of the measured section to the current point.
How it should work:
When entering a section control zone, a secondary indicator should appear showing the cumulative average speed for that specific stretch.
This would allow drivers to see if their overall average is above the limit, even if their instantaneous speed is currently legal.
The indicator could be placed as a small badge next to the progress bar or integrated into the speedometer display.
Why this matters:
Without this, drivers often have to guess or do mental math to ensure they haven't exceeded the average limit due to a faster start at the beginning of the zone. This feature would promote much smoother and safer driving behavior.Waze currently displays the instantaneous speed, which is helpful for fixed speed cameras. "Closed Road" in quick access
(not sure of the english term in Waze App)
One of my UR mentionned the idea to have a quick access at "Closed Road" without having to search in menu.
Most of time, users are using "Incorrect route" or "General error" instead of "Closed Road"

Thank you for creating such a wonderful navigation app!
I’ve been using Waze for quite a long time, and I truly appreciate the quality of your map service. It’s very user-friendly, thoughtful, and considerate, especially with its strong focus on driver safety. Even speed bumps are clearly alerted, which is impressive.
There are a few improvements we hope you could consider to make Waze even more widely used, helping more people travel safely and conveniently:
The Waze icon may feel cheerful, but it should also look more professional and clearly represent a navigation or map app. The current icon feels a bit too childish and doesn’t seem related to maps or directions at first glance.
Please consider working with Apple to enable navigation directions to be displayed on the car’s HUD when connected via CarPlay.
A satellite view mode would be very useful, as it provides a more realistic and familiar perspective.
Please add voice alerts such as “You are exceeding the speed limit” or “Please slow down” for speeding warnings. Simple alert sounds may not be noticeable enough, and drivers could unintentionally exceed the speed limit and face heavy fines.
We look forward to seeing these improvements in the near future.
Thank you again!

Plazas de aparcamiento para discapacitados

Suggestions to Improve Waze User Experience
Dear Waze Team,
My name is Fabio Martinez Coello, and I am a Colombian user who relies on your application on a daily basis. I would like to thank you for the great service you provide, which has become an essential tool for navigation.
Based on my daily experience, I would like to share some suggestions that could help improve the application and make it even more user-friendly:
1. Always display the programmed destination address:
It would be very helpful if the selected destination address remains constantly visible. Sometimes, due to typing errors or accidental input, an incorrect address is entered. Having the address always visible would allow users to quickly verify and correct it before reaching an unintended destination.
2. Avoid mixing languages in the interface:
When the application is set to English, some terms still appear in Spanish (such as “calzada,” “calle,” “sur,” “norte,” “oriente,” “occidente”). For a better user experience, the app should maintain consistency and avoid mixing languages.
3. Allow multiple stops in a route:
Currently, it is not possible to program multiple stops efficiently. It would be very useful to allow users to add several stops (ideally up to 10) within a single route.
4. Different colors for route segments:
When multiple stops are added, it would help to display the first segment in the current blue color and the remaining segments in different colors. This would reduce confusion and improve route visualization.
5. Ability to review each programmed stop:
Users should be able to click on any programmed stop and verify its exact address. This would help ensure that all destinations are correct before and during the trip.
I hope these suggestions are helpful and can be considered in future updates. Thank you for your continuous efforts to improve the application.
Kind regards,

Disable rerouting sound
Would be excellent to be able to disable the music volume lowering and chirp when the app reroutes. I don't want to have to turn off all alerts just to not have my music interrupted when I route slightly differently

Navigation distance decimal points not showing on digital gauge cluster in 2026 Subaru Crosstrek through Android Auto
On the 2026 Subaru Crosstrek (and I'm assuming other newer Subarus with the digital gauge cluster), the turn by turn navigation display in the corner of the cluster doesn't show decimal points on the distance to the next turn. This leads to the display just showing "1 miles" then "0 miles" until you get close enough for it to display in feet. This does work correctly on Google Maps, showing 1.1, 1.0, 0.9, 0.8, etc. so this does seem to be technically possible. Hopefully this can be looked at in the future
