traffic light to be turned off on the map
hi, is there a way to turn off traffic lights being shown on the map? It is very annoying and makes the map so busy and hard to read. Thanks!

Update or downgrade?
I'm not sure where this would go. After the latest update, things obviously have changed. Some good and some not so good. I like the new voice instructions at the next light turn. Also with the flash flooding and closed roads the warning was great. However, I rely on my car speed being displayed and the chirp for being X MPH over my selected number is missing. Choosing the destination is difficult, even with stored places.

Gears Of War E-Day: Anya Stroud y Coronel Hoffman

CarPlay needs work
Feedback: Waze CarPlay Functionality
I really love Waze and want to make it my primary navigation app, but a few CarPlay interface issues are holding it back for me:
Map panning during navigation
Currently, panning the map requires first tapping a small "move" button. Drivers should be able to pan the map directly while turn-by-turn directions are active, without an extra activation step.Ending navigation
The "Stop" button is too small, lacks visual prominence, and is positioned on the far side of the screen from the driver. This makes it harder and more distracting to end a route while driving. It should be larger, bright red, and positioned closer to the driver's side for quicker, safer access.Zoom and pan controls
Zooming and panning currently require tapping small arrows or "+"/"−" buttons located on the far edge of the screen. Drivers should be able to zoom and pan using onscreen gestures (like pinch-to-zoom or drag or double tap and move finger up/down), rather than needing to reach for small, distant buttons.
General suggestion
As car screens continue to get larger, Waze's UI should account for driver reach and attention. Key controls should be positioned on the driver's side, sized for quick recognition, and supplemented with intuitive gestures, reducing the need to hunt for small buttons while driving.Feedback: Waze CarPlay Functionality

Start voice guidance from a selected point on the route
Many users already know the first part of their journey and only need guidance for the last section. It would be very useful to allow users to choose a point along the route where voice guidance should begin automatically.
Waze would still calculate the full route, monitor traffic and reroute if necessary, but it would remain silent until the selected point is reached.
This would be especially helpful for motorcycle riders, commuters and frequent drivers, improving both convenience and safety by avoiding the need to interact with the phone during the ride.

Option to create routes that avoid zero electronic toll zones (ZBE) anywhere in Europe.
While it's possible to avoid toll roads, it would be beneficial to include a similar option to avoid electronic tolls in Europe for vehicles without a sticker. Furthermore, in 2027, the use of the B sticker will be restricted in certain areas of Europe. I suggest this option because it could benefit 20 million vehicles in Spain that either don't have a sticker or only have a B sticker, whose circulation will soon be restricted. I urge you to consider implementing this feature.

Display required average speed on iPhone
Please add the ability to display the required average speed while driving through average speed camera zones on the iPhone navigation screen.
This feature is already available in Apple CarPlay, but not when using Waze directly on the iPhone.
For users without CarPlay, this would be extremely helpful. It allows drivers to stay within the legal average speed limit without having to calculate it manually, improving both safety and convenience.
Bringing this feature to the iPhone app would also make the navigation experience consistent across platforms.

Can't touch the map to set a destination while connected to android auto
I want to touch the map to set a destination while connected to android auto, but I can't. I can touch the map to set a destination fine while only on the Waze android app, but when I'm connected to android auto, there isn't even a map on my phone to tap a destination on. And if I try to tap the map on my head unit to set a destination, nothing happens. Holding my finger down on the map doesn't do anything either. This means I can't save a new non-addressed location while connected to android auto. Seems like a big oversight.

Voice commands to navigate to saved places not working
I have some saved places, like "parent's house" for example. To try to navigate to it I will press the microphone button and say "parent's house" or "navigate to parent's house", but it will set my route to a destination completely different hundreds of miles away. This only happens while connected to android auto. It works fine if I'm only using the Waze android app. Any ideas on how to fix this? Am I the only person with the issue? This is a main basic functionality and I can't use Waze without it.

Under "Where to?", show all "Saved places" at once instead of having to scroll horizontally.
I don't like horizontally scrolling to the right to get to all my saved places. It looks sloppy and feels weird especially when there is a vertical list of places below it. It is slower to find your places too. I would like it if these saved places buttons/shortcuts (home, work, others and more) were all shown at once without having to scroll horizontally. The buttons/shortcuts that don't fit all on one line would simply be moved under the first line. Then you have 2 or 3 lines or these buttons/shortcuts instead of having to scroll horizontally to look for them.

Ul overlap issue on BYD DiLink
Hello Waze Support Team,
I am experiencing a UI scaling and layout issue with the Waze app on my car's infotainment system.
Car Model: 2025 BYD Qin L EV
System: DiLink 5
Description of the issue:
The bottom part of the Waze interface is completely overlapped by the car's native persistent system menu (climate controls and app dock).1 vote -
KITT as a voice (Knight Rider)
I feel like KITT would be a perfect addition as a voice and vehicle. He already guides Michael, so why not allow him to join the ride and guide us? William Daniels if possible for authenticity.

Better EV Support
In France, electric cars are now sold more than traditional gas cars.
EV drivers use Waze every day.
However, Waze is still designed mostly for gas vehicles.
Here are simple features to make Waze the best app for EV drivers.Better Route Alternatives for EVs
Current alternative routes show equal travel times. But they ignore distance and battery consumption.
One route might use much more energy.
Waze should calculate and show energy consumption for each alternative route.Vehicle Profile & Smart Charging Stops
Users should be able to select their vehicle brand and exact model.
Waze will know the real energy consumption of the car.
Users should also select their charging subscriptions (like Ionity or Tesla in France).
Waze should then automatically suggest the best charging stops on the route.Initial Battery Level Input
Users need to enter their starting battery level (SOC %).
Waze will adjust charging stops according to the current charge.Destination Charging
Drivers need to plan arrival charging easily.
Waze should show available charging stations near the final destination before starting the trip.Real-Time Battery Impact Factors
Elevation and weather affect EV range a lot.
Waze should adjust estimated consumption based on route elevation changes.Community Charging Reports
EV drivers need real-time station info.
Waze should allow users to report broken, occupied, or blocked chargers easily.
