As a regular user, I encountered a problem with a deliberate roadblock following a demonstration. The system identified the blockages and marked them on the map and indeed provided alternative routes. I suggest you improve the visual information by coloring the blocked roads in a unique color that will give visual meaning to the user.

Add “Ask Toll Road every time” and fix “Avoid difficult intersections”
Shall we have the option to choose if we want to go Toll Road or not every time we search for a route? Currently we only have “ Toll or No Toll”.
And the option “avoid difficult intersections” shows an even more difficult route that coming out from a small street turning into a heavy traffic main road. Avoid difficult intersections should mean use the intersection with traffic lights that having a clear “stop-go” decision. If the route asks you to travel small quiet street then get across the heavy traffic main road, it’s NOT easy at all. It’s Dangerous.

Standspur

Waze social drive
Hi Waze team,
My name is Segev Hayun, I’m 18 years old, and I’m currently volunteering in northern Israel, working with youth in difficult circumstances.
This idea actually came to me during my drives to the volunteer center. I was spending a lot of time sitting in traffic and started thinking about how many people experience exactly the same thing every day.
That led me to a simple question:
What if Waze could turn some of that unavoidable traffic time into social time?
I developed a concept called Waze Social Drive.
When Waze detects that a driver has a significant traffic delay ahead, it could offer — entirely by voice — an optional conversation with another available driver.
The driver simply answers by voice, chooses something they’d like to talk about, and AI matches them with another driver based on shared interests, language and conversation preferences.
Safety is at the center of the concept.
This isn’t about adding another screen or social network while driving. It is designed to be voice-first and hands-free.
No typing. No scrolling. No profile browsing. No phone numbers exchanged. No exact locations shared.
Waze speaks. The driver answers. Waze handles the rest.
Waze already has the essential context: navigation, traffic conditions, trip duration and voice interaction. Social Drive would simply add an optional social layer to that existing experience.
I’ve attached a visual product flow showing how I imagine the experience could work.
Waze Social Drive
Turn traffic time into social time.I’d love the opportunity to discuss the concept with the appropriate product or business development team and explore whether there could be an opportunity to develop it further together.
Best,

Disable "Still There / Not There" confirmation prompts in Motorcycle Mode
When using Motorcycle Mode, safety should be the top priority. Currently, when Waze alerts a rider about a road hazard, the app prompts the user to confirm or infirm the hazard ("Still there" / "Not there").
For a motorcyclist, interacting with the screen to dismiss or answer this distracting prompt is incredibly dangerous and unsafe. Furthermore, the confirmation box takes up significant space on a phone screen, which is often mounted on handlebars and harder to read at a glance.
Please add an option in Motorcycle Mode settings to "Receive Alerts Only." This should show the hazard notification briefly on the screen or play the audio alert, but completely remove the interactive confirmation buttons so riders can keep their hands on the bars and their eyes on the road. When using Motorcycle Mode, safety should be the top priority. Percurso do Trajeto
Boa noite!

Hazards encountered Not timely in App
I have the inability to access the Hazards button while driving in an effective time.: I've been using Waze for what seems like 20 years! Definitely since 2010 in Brasil! They have speed bumps all over the place and I've been unable to find that in the hazards to report... But it showed up only sometimes when I arrive at one! I also have an issue with potholes... Sometimes there are what seems like hundreds of them... I cannot report them all because it is complicated to report them while driving with all the steps needed to arrive at the appropriate touch button! Please help!

Add Google Gemini Button Please!
Just like Google Maps has for all in one safety and route changes, destinations, and all available options. Much safer to push a single button and talk than to have to look at phone constantly when changes are needed and driving.

Siri integration for Motorcyclists.
When I say “Hey Siri, using Waze, navigate me home” or similar, it says “you’ll need to unlock your iPhone”.
When I say something like “Hey Siri, using Waze, Navigate me to [postcode]” it replies “getting directions to [postcode], [Town] using Waze” but then NOTHING HAPPENS. The screen, if unlocked, starts the navigation. But as a motorcyclist, the phone would be in my pocket and I would be using my headset to speak to Siri. Please fix this so that it starts the navigation without me having to unlock my phone. The app is close to useless, as-is.

Group travel
It is possible to create travel groups between people, both with the same destination and the same route. If someone makes a mistake on the way, the route is automatically adjusted for everyone. It should be possible to see where the other people in the group are.

Keep navigation instructions in a fixed position when alerts appear
When using Waze through Android Auto, the next-turn navigation instructions are normally displayed in the upper-left corner of the car screen, showing the next maneuver and the remaining distance.
However, when a Waze alert appears (speed camera, hazard, police, etc.), the alert takes that position and the navigation instructions are moved to the right.
In areas with many alerts, this becomes quite distracting while driving. The navigation instructions keep changing position on the screen, so instead of being able to quickly glance at the same location to see the next turn, you have to look for where the instructions have moved.
I think the navigation instructions should always remain in a fixed position, since they are the most important information while following a route.
Alerts could temporarily replace or move another less critical element instead. For example, the destination/ETA information shown in the lower-left corner could be moved or temporarily replaced when an alert appears.
The main idea is simple: the next-turn instructions and distance should always stay in the same place on the screen, regardless of alerts.
This would make Waze on Android Auto less distracting and much easier to follow, especially when driving through areas with frequent alertsWhen using Waze through Android Auto, the next-turn navigation instructions are normally displayed in the upper-left corner of the car screen, showing the next maneuver and the remaining distance.

Traffic Visualization
I really like Waze for road information, lane guidance, and updates, especially when driving in the UAE. However, I strongly dislike the way Waze currently displays traffic flow.
Google Maps has a much clearer way of showing traffic. When my route is blue, the exact section affected by traffic changes to yellow or red. This immediately tells me where the traffic is and how far ahead it is, which is very useful while driving because I can prepare for the congestion in advance.
Waze also shows traffic flow, but personally I find its visualization difficult to understand and much less clear than Google Maps.
My suggestion is to introduce a traffic visualization similar to Google Maps, where traffic congestion is clearly shown directly on the planned route using blue, yellow, and red sections. I think this would make Waze's traffic information much easier and safer to understand.

Motorcycle Mode: Realistic Door-to-Door ETA (Cumulative Fatigue, Rest/Fuel Buffers & Weather Integration)
Currently, Waze Motorcycle Mode calculates ETA purely as continuous kinetic driving time (distance / traffic speed), assuming the rider never stops and experiences zero physical fatigue.
On medium and long-distance rides (e.g., 200–600+ km), real-world arrival times are consistently off by 20%–35% due to factors unique to two-wheelers:
Fixed Operational Overhead:
Every motorcycle stop (fuel/hydration) requires 15–20 minutes due to mandatory gear handling (helmet, gloves, earplugs, rain gear) and stationary eating/drinking.Non-Linear Fatigue & Pacing:
Unlike car drivers, rider physical strain (wind resistance, balance, hyper-vigilance) compounds over time. Rest frequency naturally increases on long legs (e.g., from once every 200 km early on, to every 100–120 km after 4 hours of riding).Fuel Tank & Consumption Profiling:
Allow riders to input tank capacity (L) and average consumption to automatically suggest optimal fuel stops along the route and fold them into the total trip duration.Weather & AI Adaptation:
Weather Multiplier: Automatically adjust speed projections and add rest buffers when routing through rain, fog, or extreme temperatures.
Adaptive Learning: Learn individual rider stopping habits and average break durations to calculate an accurate "Door-to-Door" ETA instead of just a "Rolling Engine" ETA.
A dual ETA toggle ("Riding Time" vs. "Real Door-to-Door Arrival") would make Waze the undisputed leader in motorcycle touring navigation.
