Color coding traffic for slow or stopped traffic. Almost had a semi rear end me in stopped traffic. He was going highway speed limit.
Adding yellow lines for slow traffic and red lines for stopped traffic with voice warnings would be much appreciated. Coming to a screeching halt on a blind corner or hill could he avoided with advanced warnings.

Lane arrows and direction to turn not on main screen any more
With the latest update, i believe, in apple carplay it stopped showing what lane to take on the main screen. Bring it back on main screen.

Hear Interesting Facts About Places You're Driving Through
I think it would be really cool if Waze introduced an audio feature that uses AI to share interesting facts about the towns, cities, and landmarks as you pass through them.
For example, during a road trip, Waze could occasionally share a fun historical fact, an unusual local story, or something interesting about the area's culture or geography.
Ideally, users could opt into this feature (even a possible toggle button or specific “road trip mode”) and choose how frequently they'd like to hear facts (e.g., every 30 minutes to 1 hour). Facts could be shared during quieter stretches of the drive, when there aren't many navigation instructions, so they wouldn't interfere with directions or alerts. It might also be nice to have a different voice for the fun facts than the one used for navigation.
I think it would make long drives super entertaining, especially when exploring new places. It would also be a fun way to discover interesting things about places you might otherwise pass through without giving them a second thought.

Feature: Speed Limit Challenge
Intent & Goal
Feature that rewards users for driving at or under the posted speed limit. Trips are recorded quietly via GPS, actual speed is compared against known speed-limit data, and the distance driven safely is converted into "Safe Miles" or "Safe KMs" depending on the user's country. The earned balance becomes a shareable badge of honor and a currency redeemable for discounts at partner stores like gas stations and convenience shops, turning safe driving into a measurable, rewarding habit.
For example, for every 100 safe miles you get a free coffee on a specific gas station (the partner)
Audience & Roles
Two user types: (1) Drivers — the primary users; they record trips, view trip scorecards, accumulate Safe Miles/KMs, share their totals with others, and redeem QR vouchers at partner stores.
(2) Admin team — staff with a separate role who curate and manage partner stores and their offers, review redemptions, and monitor suspicious driving activity for fraud. Partner stores do NOT log into the app; admins manage the partner side.

Melhoria no acesso a Rua Verbo Divno

Impossible arrêter Waze sur I phone. Je vais le désinstaller encore.
Il faudrait pouvoir arrêter l’application sur I phone quand on n’en a plus besoin, com Google Maps. Le bouton arrêter n’arrête rien.

Motorcycle interface improvement
Hello Waze Team,
I am a regular Waze user and find your app excellent for navigation and real-time traffic information.
However, as a motorcyclist, I have found that the current incident-reporting system is not well-suited for use while riding.
When on the road, interacting with a smartphone screen—especially while wearing gloves and with the phone mounted on the handlebars—is difficult and potentially dangerous.
It would be highly beneficial to develop an interface specifically designed for motorcyclists, which could include:
• Easy reporting of accidents, hazards, obstacles, or speed cameras.
• Reporting of risks specific to two-wheeled vehicles, such as loose gravel, fuel spills, slippery road surfaces, debris, potholes, or speed cameras.
• A simplified reporting mechanism using external hardware controls (push buttons and an acknowledgment LED) connected via Bluetooth.
• Minimizing the need to touch the screen while riding.
The goal is to allow motorcyclists to continue contributing to the Waze community while enhancing their own safety and that of other road users.
Could you let me know if such improvements are being considered, and if there is a channel through which I can submit this proposal to your product or technical team?
I am also willing to develop an interface for testing within a beta version.
Thank you for your hard work and for considering this suggestion.
Best regards,
A Waze user and dedicated motorcyclistHello Waze Team,

Stop the gazetted speed pop up over the record of the current speed, have them beside each other so you can see each at the same time
Gazetted speed pops up at different times and stays over the current speed for various amounts of time, ideally it should be like google maps where the gazetted speed & your current speed are beside each other.
Additionally when your current speed is over the gazetted speed the colour combination can be difficult to read, maybe a yellow background with red numbers rather than the black/grey background with red numbers to make them easier to read.1 vote -
Allow independent volume scaling and HFP/Audio channel selection under CarPlay mode.
Hello Waze Team,
I am a loyal Waze user driving an older vehicle with an aftermarket external CarPlay screen. Currently, iOS forces all audio (music and navigation) into a single "Media" channel whenever CarPlay is active. This causes a major safety and user experience issue:
If I want to listen to music (e.g., Demus/Spotify) as a quiet background sound, Waze’s navigation prompts become completely inaudible. If I turn up the car's volume to hear Waze clearly, the background music becomes dangerously loud.
I have tried maximizing Waze's volume slider to 100%, but it still fails to create a sufficient volume gap with music apps due to CarPlay's forced mixing logic.
I strongly suggest Waze implement the following features under CarPlay mode:
1. Advanced Volume Booster / Independent Scaling: Allow users to boost Waze's voice guidance gain even further (e.g., up to 150% or 200%).
2. Force HFP (Hands-Free Profile) Option: Unblock the "Play as Bluetooth phone call" feature even when CarPlay is connected, allowing navigation to route through the car's native Bluetooth phone channel instead of the CarPlay media channel.
This would tremendously help millions of drivers using older car stereos and external screens. Thank you for your consideration!Hello Waze Team,

Removal of 'Sudden Shutdown'
I am a chauffeur in the UK and have witnessed multiple times how dangerous the 'Sudden Shutdown' report option is!
It causes undue alarm, panic and reactions of road users, which have caused sudden breaking and when I've witnessed it, nearly causing collisions on the motorways.

Emergency services
EMS agencies across the country are closing their doors, unable to afford to stay open so while navigation apps specific to fire and EMS exist, only the largest and best funded agencies can afford to use them, so most of us are forced to use apps like Waze or Google Maps to navigate during an emergency response. However roads best used in an ambulance or fire truck aren't the same as in your POV, you need to stick to main roads whenever possible, straight away's over curvy roads etc, and not a single app I have found for individual users addresses this. My greatest wish for Waze is that an emergency response mode is added - maybe you can also chose an ambulance, fire truck or police car as your vehicle icon but the main need is that there is an option in route planning for main road prioritization. A main road gives us more room to maneuver. And stop asssuminh agencies just pay for the paid services. Medicare reimburses $300 a call for my agency - and with how expensive the equipment is whether we need it on that particular call or not means we need way more than that to afford to keep the doors open let alone splurge on extras like area specific emergency navigation software. We go out of our way to ensure we get to someone as quickly and as safely as possible but we could do that much better if someone actually created something that helps us do that.
