Create a Partner Data Feed for GIS-based Street Sign Inventory
Many municipalities are importing/moving their street sign inventory into their GIS system. Since many Waze map attributes are based on visible street signs (speed limits, one-way streets, turn restrictions, school zones, street names, etc.), it makes sense to allow municipalities to upload their sign locations and have some koi-fish-style validation of those signs against the existing Waze attributes.
For the initial upload, where signs differ from the Waze attribute, Map Issues or Map Suggestions could be created to have WME editors verify the differences and make any necessary corrections.

ADD ICE ALERT NOTIFICATIONS
Using the immense network and crowd-sourced infrastructure already in place, please add an additional alert where users can add an ICE / Homeland Security sighting. Same functionality as current "police" or "hazard" with the "still there" or "not there" controls.
An easy programming solution to alert law-abiding citizens from being unlawfully detained.
Please share this suggestion with EVERYBODY to have it added ASAP.

Donc quand un radar est indiqué, on ne voit ni la vitesse autorisée, ni la vitesse a laquelle on roule ....

Feature Request: Co-Drive Functionality

Add bike lanes on roads
There should be an option where you can see bike lanes, it can pop up on the side of roads that actually have bike lanes. If there is a bike lane and you need to turn where the bike lane is, it could give you a warning to watch for cyclists in the bike lane. With adding bike lanes, you can even add a feature for cyclists! When you put in your destination on Waze, there could be a pop up that is a little button which says CAR or BIKE. EV networks
Allow users to add EV charging stations/networks and ideally integrate with present multi network services like Octopus Electroverse, ZapMap etc.
Allow filtering of charging stations by power and or cost as well as plug type
The current list of networks is limited and misses a significant number of stations that might otherwise be easily found and used enroute.

Electric car planning with chargers and battery info
I would like to use Waze like ABRP. For me Waze is the best GPS software to drive my car with. But nowadays I have an electric car and need to plan my trip with the battery level and consumption and the available electric chargers on my way. Speed bump feature
I would like to suggest adding feature where speed bumps can be added on routes since when driving at night in Dominican Republic they sometimes just show up and you’re not able to see them in time.

Collaborative Routing
Waze works like the most other Navigation Apps. You can choose between 1 and 3 different fixed routes, that sometimes slightly change when there is a lot of traffic ahead. The problem is, that Waze works like a broadcast as far as I know.
So when Route 1 have heavy traffic, all other users get Route 2 to avoid traffic. The problem here is, that new heavy traffic will be created to avoid the first.
All cars following the same alternative route.

Change car on shoulder, to vehicle on shoulder
During high traffic times, there is only the "car on shoulder" option, but in my experience, there are way more semi trucks on the shoulder than there are cars. We should be able to access: Alerts > Vehicle on Shoulder > Car option or semi option.

Units and Alerts to be changed
Please add the function to change from Feet to Yards and to please always alert the driver of a speed camera with a sound.
Due to these reasons I do not use Waze, but with these features I would used it every day

Allow users to select lanes blocked when reporting an accident
When reporting an accident, allow users to select if the right lane is blocked, left lane is blocked, all lanes are blocked, or if the accident is on the shoulder.

Don’t change the route automatically during trip navigation
I don’t want Waze to change the route automatically without my permission after I chose at the beginning. It happens I choose a ruote and then, just for avoiding few minutes of traffic, I have to pay more highway and more fuel for longer route. I want Waze ask for me permission to change, despite a simple pop up “better route found” in which I can only choose yes, and if I don’t reply yes (of course I m driving) Waze change it automatically.
