Better head-up-display directions at roundabout
The head-up-display shows directions through waze in my VW ID.7. At roundabouts it shows an arrow, instead of (part of) a roundabout with which exit to take.

Zoom
Whenever I click the find alternative routes button. It constantly zooms me out every single time. This is so annoying I have to constantly click the plus button. Every time that I want to check if there’s a different route thats quicker.

Add favorites to a route
When I go on long trips, I enjoy stopping at rest areas, but I have no clue where they are or when they'll appear. I've ended up at a sketchy gas station, only to discover a rest area just 2 miles ahead. I also like pulling over at specific restaurant chains, but again, I don't know their locations. It would be awesome to add favorites to a route so the app tracks the distance to the nearest Chick-fil-A or Buc-ee's, then resets after you pass it to show the next one. This feature would be a game-changer.

Make the compass active, showing direction at all times with reference to North.

Individual Volume Settings
Please implement a dedicated sound/volume setting allowing for volume to be increased to as loud or as low as wanted. Some vehicles and devices are having issues selecting louder volume for Waze, especially when using other infotainment features like Bluetooth music or CarPlay.

Hi Ella and colleagues, I have a waze suggestion. Please ask the Waze engineer to please add an option in the Settings of the App for the end-user: please let me explain first. Waze no longer is asking for re-routing permission - Waze now just dynamically (automatically) re-routes now in the middle of navigating. And I understand why, this is because to minimize distraction. Good afternoon, I wanted to suggest streamlining the Waze system. In light of recent truck crashes on bridges, I would enter a figure for the maximum height of all bridges, so that before each trip, the truck driver would have to measure the maximum height and enter the figure into the Waze system, and the system would automatically navigate the driver to the road with the bridge at the appropriate height. This would save on accidents and, God forbid, loss of life.

Integrate a bus and truck option
Add a bus option next to the already existing car, taxi and motorcycle option and let us adjust the weight, height, speed, width and length of the vehicle
Theres hardly any mainstream gps that has a function like this

Age limit on appstore
Please lower the age restriction on AppStore, to the same age it was a until not long ago.
Since you updated it to 17+, I can no longer use your app, due to the restrictions I put on my phone, to filter content.

Please get rid of new “listening” landing page
Please get rid of the new “listening” landing page, in CarPlay, that you must click through to report an issue on the road. It’s annoying and unsafe because it adds yet another button press while driving and it pauses the audio you’re listening to.

Add more incidents or alerts in Apple Car
I request that the same warning or alert reasons available in the mobile app be added to CarPlay. For example, if a road is closed, there is currently no option to report it.

Display EV charger availability and location when using Carplay
Current behavior:
When you search an EV Charger in Waze Carplay, it displays a list of EV Charger without the location on the map. Also the charger availability is not displayed. This makes it almost impossible to pick up a convenient EV Charger.Enhancement request: when searching for an EV charger

Support for Bluetooth OBD / EV data
I need support for Bluetooth OBD adapters for electric cars (live data on battery status and consumption, etc.) so that charging planning is also possible with Waze. When planning charging, it would be great if you could give preference to certain providers. As we know, ABRP offers exactly this function, but I would prefer to navigate with Waze in Android Auto and still have my electric car data in the navigation system.
